i ate meat for the first time in years today
 

i had a tuna sub. it felt weird eating it, but pretty good.

you broke a fast of meat for years with a tuna sub? I bet it was canned no less? Jesus man! why not a steak? or some delicious grilled chicken? lamb chop? pastrami? burger? anything but tuna!

probably was. i got it from blimpies. i don't think i can eat red meat and i will never eat lamb.

i just felt like having a tuna sub.

i don't eat much meat myself, mostly because i find most food gross

i just thought it odd, though I haven't had meat or animal products for weeks and all I want are some maple bars from the donut shop.

I also rarely eat lamb, and as far as steaks go only in sandwhich form. big american steaks are scary to me. grilled chicken boring? i am not talking about the way the do on Seventh Heaven, I am talking about properly marinated..

and the burger, well we can agree there. I am off to make a boca burger right now... its my form of cheating.

i decided this weekend after eating fresh crab cooked on an open flame that the fruit of the sea is not mere meat. it is sea fruit. juicy juicy sea fruit.

maybe i should think that way. i was thinking i should at least eat fish anyway once in awhile to be more healthy.

Lamb = Gyros and Döner Kebap! Also really good in indian food
Beef = beef Fajitas, shredded pork enchiladas, swedish meatballs, burgers, korean bbq
Pork = ham, pulled pork sandwich, BBQ'd ribs, bacon, bratwurst
Chicken = Tikka Masala, Tandoori, fried chicken, chicken sate
Squid = calamari
Mussels = mussels with olive oil, garlic, and italian herbs

I won't eat veal though, that shit is disgusting

i had tuna ceviche last week and it was rad.

About a month ago I had the most delicious dungeness crab sandwich in Sausalito. Expensive as fuck, too, but my Aunt covered it.

a tuna sub was you reintroduction..... all I can say is WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?????????????????? Some nice fresh sushi or sashimi would have been a far better option.

Salmon is my favorite fish, I should buy some and grill it with lemon, and garlic.

Cornish Hens sounds good, with some fresh salsa, and tortillas.

you forgot the snails, the frogs, the sharks, the octopii, the tongue of the cow, the cerveau of a rabbit, the gizzards and hearts of chicken, overly fattened goose livers, raw ground horse meat spread on toast, headcheeses of various types, the congealed blood of a pig stuffed into an intestinal tube and fried, and the occassional sea urchin.


things i have not yet eaten: blowfish, sashimi so fresh the little chunks of flesh are still twitching when you put them in yr mouth, locust fresh off the grain fields swollen with corn mush fried in oil till they pop like popcorn.
