Let's all chuckle as one at TV ads from our yoof!

OK, so we're all from different places, and of different ages but a crap ad is a crap ad is a crap ad.

No wonder they sold so many Big Macs in the UK, with ads like this:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cefzoEkBmd4&feature=related

I had an Atari, not because of this Ad though:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=x-2lSdXSdio

I wanted an Action Man Transport Command so bad it wasn't even funny:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN9yxrSt_6o

Anyone who says Kentucky Fried Chicken hasn't gone down hill since the 80s is a fucking liar:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUf81DY9cIo

Compilations on cassette ruled the 80s like a total bastard:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu7SR...eature=related

Ford Escorts were shit, but their ads were pure punk rock:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pfjC...eature=related

Mad Cow disease? The 80s? Not an issue mate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOXbICmL47w

Wimpy was what old ladies ate instead of Macdonalds, because you got proper knives and forks. Then they went all Motown in their ads and noone liked them anymore:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e99g...eature=related

This one was directed by Ridley Scott, and in my opinion kicks the living shit out of crap like Blade Runner:

Everyone in Britain will know this one off by heart, but for our American friends, sit back and prepare yourself for the greatest advert in human history:

Yeah, but check that packaging. Proof that Britiain in the 70s was still living on 50s ideals.

Middle class parents across Britain bought this for their kids in the hope that it'd turn their children into Isaac Newton after just one play. Of course, the reality was that they became heroin addicts before settling into abusive relationships, just like the rest of us. Suckers.

Some of those were wonderful. The Dixons one: £64 for a cassette radio. Back then that was like, what, five million quid or something.
