Does anyone watch this sitcom? It's on in the morning before work, so if i have the time I watch it and if not I record it. Anyway, it's a good sitcom.

Probably not, I just watched a few minutes of an episode to hear the italian dubbing.
And it's not a comedy, I think...

i just looked it up on wikipedia and joss whedon said this about it:

"Best. Show. Ever. Seriously, I've never gotten more wrapped up in a show I wasn't making, and maybe even more than those [...] These guys know what they're doing on a level that intimidates me. It's the Harry Potter of shows."

Interesting. This reminds me I have yet to read the last buffy issue, and if whedon is serious in that statement/it's an actual qoute I might have to investigate further, especially if it's somewhat funny like buffy... I still haven't figured out wether I think that girl is nice or not. That could help my decision. ha ha, lame afternoon today.

the american one is way better

sure the 1st season it only followed the british one almost verbatim, but the 2nd season it exploded-- it blows the british one out of the water for many reasons-- one of them being the amazing dwight shrute (not sure of the spelling, sorry).

but yeah.

many moons ago I used to watch that with the wife-unit. the best episodes were always with David Cross.

"Just Shoot Me" was a good show, haven't peeped reruns in ages though.
I do recall enjoying it back when TV had more than 2 good sitcoms. Now
all there is is "The Office" and...

^^ 30 Rock IS the funniest thing on TV right now. I blame Tina Fey.

Tracy Jordans MMORPG-Porn game is genius. "Do these look like wizard nipples to you??" had me laughing so hard I couldn't keep my iPhone from shaking (you can watch all of this season's episodes on nbc.com).

My sentiments exactly. Brits can cry all they want. I enjoyed the original version immensely on many artistic levels, but comedically, yes, the NBC show blows the Gervais version out of the water. And you're so right about the second season and forward. <(& it) seems I mentioned this all previously.>

As a side note, Ricky Gervais introduced the SNL Digital Short on last week's new Saturday Night Live episode hosted by Steve Carell. It was the highlight of the broadcast and featured a pretty hysterical mock-Japanese "original" version of "The Office."

You've mentioned before that you don't like Seinfeld, so your proclaimed penchant for Just Shoot Me seems a bit askew.

I've never been able to suffer through even five minutes of Just Shoot Me during its original run or in syndication.

Why that would be is a mistery, atari?

I never watched this show because I cannot stand looking at Laura San Giacomo's face

and all my friends who did watfch the show woudl yell at me because she hides some massive ta-ta's under her sweaters, and I was like" so what? look at that rat face"

tina fey is my dream woman. 30 rock is the best show on tv right now. i used to watch just shoot me too and thought it was pretty damn funny. i haven't seen it since high school though.

I have a DVD of 30 rock that my friend burned for me and I need to watch it.

I personally do not find tina fey funnty. she was the reason I stopped watching saturday night live. when she became head writer, the comedy just seemed so forced and predictable.

I do not think she is funny in interviews either. just sounds like an annoying person.
she is cute though

watch 30 rock from season one. it's fucking funny. she's great. i've never watched SNL though-- well maybe a couple of times, but i find it depressing to watch tv on saturday night so last time i did that was aaaaages ago. so in other words i have no clue what she did there. but what she's done here, i don't know, maybe it's not your style, but the show's funny. i got them all through netflix but you can watch online now (good thing the writers went on strike, now they make money off that too). enjoy.

Just Shoot Me, pretty good show, everyone says I look like David Spade... it's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks Tina Fey is ridiculously hot. But only with glasses...
