I was wondering about what opinions people have on fashion styles and trends. Do you percieve them as something people should be proud of? Or something people do just for the mere attention and popularity just because they need to follow somebody else to fit in. Let's hear some input

I think your first category is closest - baggy stylee, with cool t-shirts (somtimes band one, otherwise certain brands eg Dunknmunky) and a zippy hooded sweatshirt. That's my style.

I usually wear jeans and a plain colored t-shirt. I don't like logos on my shirts. I don't want to be a walking advertisement for some company.

I don't care about what i'm wearing really. I can walk in the same clothes for over 2 weeks and still feel comfortable in them.

I'm lucky I even match. Sometimes I don't.

I do like me a good pair of jeans though, or polyesters.

I think about what i am going to wear and makes sure it is something good

generally i wear what i like, at work i at least have to put on something reasonably respectable but mostly its what i see first mweaning that there must be items of clothing that have been in my wardrobe since the eighties. maybe they back in fashion now?

i just wear band t-shirts, jeans and cheap sweaters from a local shop.

band t-shirts, jeans and some sort of overgarment (short sleeve shirts, flannel shirts, coats, denim jacket, long sleeve shirts, sweaters, etc.)

I wear arizona jeans (mostly light blue), black vans, and t-shirt everyday. usaully a band shirt.

Probably the most stylish piece of clothing I have is this old leather jacket my mom gave me. Although that's very likely more sad than cool I'm afraid.

I totally pimp the salvation army catalogue. I like nice vintage shirts in dark colors and patterns. I wear dark green, blue, or black pants, and either my 4 dollar converse (not chucks, I don't know what model) and docs. And cotton boxer shorts. I wear band t-shirts occasionally.

i went with "whatever the fuck..." although whatever is on the floor would be more accurate. However, it just so happens that whatever the fuck is on my floor tends to be in particularly good taste.

Didn't you work in the fashion industry or something at some point? why do I have this vague memory?

Actually my mom also made me this cap with strings. It's sweet. Basically I have to give my mom credit for my outlook. hmm.
I recently realised that I should use tighter clothes that lick my freakishly tall and slim body.

I own quite a lot of band shirts (probably over 4 dozen), but I only ever wear one of them, and even that is uncommon. I should give all the rest away, but I guess I'm too sentimental or something.

I don't know how to explain what I do choose to wear. I don't like t-shirts very much, unless they're the really soft kind. I don't think t-shirts look very good on me so I try to avoid them.

My 'style' goes as follows:
Boots
Black jeans or this really old ones with a hole in the ass
Long underwear (which is usually sticking out from the waist of my pants
Tank top or long sleeve shirt
Sweater (black or navy)
Plaid

layers
skinny jeans or shorts
flats

I'm going to reply to my own question being that my fashion preferences have changed since the time this was posted.

I often wear
Corduroy pants/ shirts/ coat
Tight denim jeans or dickies cargo pants
Any dress shirts that look interesting enough
Messenger bag
Really bad shoes that I need to replace. I used to have beige Cons that I sewed back together after the material started to rip, although my parents threw them out and claimed they were innappropriate and it was socially unacceptable

i dont have a particluar style but i do have equisite taste.

Start off with a pair of Hanes.

Then I usually have some jeans. Comfortable jeans; no Wranglers. I like Paper, Denim and Cloth jeans.

I usually wear random tees, and I only have two band tees, so those get regulated whenever they're clean.

I have Vans classics, but they're pretty gay now. I remember when I was in middle school and I wore Vans. Now every man, woman, and child with mainstream rock ideals wants to wear Vans (where I am). Not fly. So I wear PF Flyers sometimes.

Jeans, corduroy pants, endless blank shirts(occasionally some thing on it.) Whatever shoes I can find. That's it. And of course brown sweaters, I love sweaters.

there is a great store, well a few of them actually in berlin that sells clothes by weight. like you buy a kilo of clothes for a set amount. they are huge massive places with a lot of great stuff to be had. ok a lot of it is total trash but then you do find some great bargains there and its very good quality too. there is a lot of stuff from the 60's and as its berlin a hell of a lot from the 80's.

I wear lots of things. No clothing with labels/logos. And everything has to fit well, as in shirts can't be baggy, and jeans have to be tight, otherwise I feel uncomfortable.

Baggy jeans and a (usually black) T shirt of one of my favourite bands. Sometimes a jacket or an overshirt.

i don't buy clothes very often (about every 3 years) but when i do i tend to buy something extravagent.
i like kenzo and paul smith best, for shoes i tend to stick to adidas or doctor martens.
