I'm serious :( I visit a lot of forums, and this one really has a unique overall character. I like it a lot, though I haven't fit in to the overall motif of it just yet

I don't think there's much of a motif, but congratulations if you stick around. I left for like two years, and all the same people are still here. Hardly anyone new. It's apparently a tough crowd.

That will always happen on forums of this size. Mid-small forums will be more driven by an indviduals' personality than the overall theme of the forum. When it's one that's smaller, the most important thing to note is that you'll need to learn the key players' basic personality, a few apparent quirks and realize that they have no need for you to begin with. If you can either somehow prove to be interesting, of worth to the collective group or willfully be strongly inactive, you'll be able to blend in decently.


I really don't expect acceptance here, but I do love visiting here.

The key is to not take anything to heart. No one here...er...not many people here are actually bad at all. Hateful slander is how this board bonds. I sometimes take it too seriously, and then it stops being fun. It's all up to me, really, whether I like it here or not. Kind of like life.

adam: heard the new scissor shock and it's great, it has a real beefheart-ian quality and the acoustic guitar fits really nice. loved the variety too all in all, and the flow.

hey thanks man. "Beefheart-ian" is what I'm about. :) glad you dig, I hope to do some more acoustic stuff in the future... I find it way more difficult to write for an acoustic than an electric, for various reasons.. it'd be nice to challenge myself...

I met a lot of genuinely nice people in my acting class today. I also met a few typically obnoxious hyper-talkative acting kids, but most were nice. And the teacher isn't psychotic or pretentious. In L.A., at least, that's a fucking miracle.

I'm glad that i have just learned that my sister is out of hospital and she is feeling well.

My parents are divorced at last.


Yeah, believe me, it's a positive sentence.

I have a close friend whose parents went through a long-winded divorce (it was going to court consistently all the way through high school). He was relieved when it was finalized, too, and I think he's been noticably happier ever since.

I am slowly starting to realize that I'm really good at what I do.
