I liked her so much better when she was drinkin', nothing beats those good old whiskey fits on stage.

I agree, she's just boring now. When I went to see her in London last year she didn't even piss herself with stage fright. AND Dex Romweber upstaged her.

Thanks for the links... but I won't be able to download them until one of the magically rare days when membership is open to the public. I prefer new Cat Power to old. The Greatest is her best album.

Last time i saw her at a festival in France, that was for "The Greatest" with the full band, she acted like she Was Liza Minelli

I didn't say I hated her early stuff. Moon Pix is my second favorite album from her.

I prefer The Greatest though. Love & Communication is more accomplished than, and just as good as, anything on Myra Lee. The new covers album, Jukebox, has some beautiful stuff on it as well.

boring or not, i was kinda reluctant to shower after she hugged me with all her might.

I'd prefer avoiding a shower after she hugs me in a drunken frenzy, reeking of sweat and booze and inviting me up to her hotel room that she likely doesn't have.

oh man... jealousy... i wonder if she would have hugged me after her show... we definitely locked eyes for a second (while she was on stage and i was right up front)... maybe she was creeped out by it...damnit

She was creeped out by your looking at her while she's on stage performing? I doubt it.

i have no idea what facial gestures i was making... it was kind of a "star-struck" moment i guess... i lose control of face in those situations

i was right up front and was just kinda gawking at her at a few points, and she reached down to me, smiled, and grabbed my hand. even being quite a straight girl, it was pretty hot.

Same thing happened to me, except she was staring me right in the face about 20 cms away.... never been more scared in my life.

I thought her performance was fantastic, that blues band kicked some serious ass and Chan just strutted around paying out our Australian accents.

when she basically grabbed my sonic youth shirt i had on and said "your tshirt is so cool", i was so scared.. it was quite a surreal moment.

hard to believe that was october :[
