jon boy 06.04.2006 10:52 AM

alright! i fucking love twin peaks.

remember channel 5 having it on and then suddenly stopping the broadcast for no particular reason.

johnnywinternoshow 06.04.2006 10:57 AM

i never got to see it til it was on dvd. Loved every minute... just wish I'd waited on series 2 before watching fire walk with me

Twin Peaks is great. One of the greatest TV programs ever. I have been wating for season 2 on dvd for ages. It will probably come out later this year apparently. Lynch has to approve the transfers and getting Inland Empire ready for Cannes delayed that process.

sweet! thank you.

porkmarras 06.04.2006 11:41 AM

I loved it when it went so almost free form you couldn't really tell what was happening anymore. And what about the trannie detective?Genius!David Lynch should be tought from primary school. The use he makes of the camera(with its ever insidious movements) is testament that there must be a god in this world.

finally! i've been waiting to see season two for so long, however it's apparantly not as good as season one...

h8kurdt 06.04.2006 12:00 PM

The ist season is brilliant then on the second series it starts off great until they solve the case tehn for about 5 episodes it sucks majorly to the point were I'd say it was utter shit but that was all down to t'other guy. It picks up after a few episodes then on the last episode it goes back to being great.

Still wonder if Lynch'll make another series eventually. Remember Laura says to Cooper "See you in 25 years".

atari 2600 06.04.2006 12:08 PM

Oh no, I'm agreeing with AssBlaster!

When he actually writes something, the guy demonstrates that he has a brain.

truncated 06.04.2006 12:13 PM

Good deal, thanks Atari.

atari 2600 06.04.2006 12:27 PM

the frostiest

whatever that means

Toilet & Bowels 06.04.2006 12:29 PM

i heard that they're going to write a book of what would have happened in series 3. don't know if there's any truth behind that. they should do something though seeing how series 2 ended on a cliffhanger

h8kurdt 06.04.2006 12:35 PM

I was talking to a friend and he said in some way's it was better to leave it as a cliff-hanger cos you only have your own interpretations of what happened next.
It's almost Lynch like IE/never explain things fully and let people interpret things on there own.

Photographs taken on the set of Twin Peaks by Richard Beymer (who played Benjamin Horne).

LifeDistortion 12.07.2007 05:12 PM

Whoa, resurrected after over a year, "Twin Peaks" dicussions on this board have become the monster that just won't die.

h8kurdt 12.07.2007 08:39 PM

Good, and long may it stay like that.

Just read my previous post and quite frankly, Mr Shankley, grammar wa not my high point.
