Guilty Pleasures
I watched Sky High last night and enjoyed it. I even laughed at some of the jokes.
I even thought it had some indie cred since Dave Foley and Kevin MacDonald were in it and it had some rehashed versions of new wave songs in it. |
50 Cent.
|
Bloc Party (if that counts......hey, they say they were inspired by Sonic Youth)
|
I've watched many terrible things simply because they involved at least one Kid in the Hall. It's kind of a hobby of mine.
|
ben and jerry's peanut butter cup ice cream (HOLY CRAP IT'S GOOD) and degrassi: the next generation. i have a thing for canadian melodrama.

cigarettes and this message board

The Muppets Treasure Island; singing the songs in this clever musical is my vice and it entertains my child to no end. I like Tim Curry.

Degrassi is the most impulsive show on television. Those kids' lives wouldn't be nearly so complicated if they would just stop and think before they did things. All of their problems are homemade. It's not like they're living in the slums. And they pretty much represent every kind of troubled teenager imaginable. You have the goth chick, the girl who cuts herself, the gay kid, the gay kid's older boyfriend who cheats on him, the rape victim, the bossy girl with glasses, the two other girls who are always whoring it up, the rebellious young man who had what may have been the worst haircut known to mankind, the funny kid who is too short to date, that other slightly older guy who I swear to god looks exactly like Thurston even though no one agrees with me, the cancer patient, the basketball star who was crippled in a school shooting, the borderline stalker who shot that kid and then shot himself, and Craig (who has too many problems to focus on just one). And I think they're all from broken homes, like the Babysitter's Club. I haven't seen the show in months because our digital cable stopped working, yet the intensity of this program still radiates throughout our home. |

My family and I always laughed at the boy in that movie because he had a mullet and a very girly singing voice. Still, great movie. "Sailing for adventure on the big blue wet thing" |
Some of the episodes of Degrassi are pretty funny. One of my friends used to watch it and then we'd just laugh at all the stupid stuff the kids do. Haha, like when Craig becomes bipolar and runs away from home. Yeah, or sometimes we'll start quoting stuff like, "You gave me a social disease." We're pretty damn bored at school as you can tell. Sometimes we'll hijack the elevator and play cowboy bebop and we always run down stairs a la solid snake.

Haha! I know, I would be embarassed for him, but he is so prepubescent. Its a great movie and I still enjoy it after watching it at least 20 times! |

Sex

which one is that? |

I think his character's name is Jay. He looks like a younger, more gangsta Thurston. If not the entire face, they at least have the mouth area in common. |

That kid! They really do. Hayden- They always play that "and soooon after you'll see you're meant for me, and I was meant for yooou" song in Burger King. Next time, I will think of you when I hear it. |
That's my favorite song ever probably.

Sex makes me guilty too. Lets find Glice. He is catholic, he'd probably whoop both our asses in sexual guilt. |

ditto, i even bought it on cd single. a lot of stuff i like would be considered "guilty pleasures" by most other people's standards. |
![]() Wait, I don't feel guilty about that.....been listening to it since I was 6. |

My dad had that album....Pieces of Me, right? Or maybe Pieces of You because I can't really remember. Anyway, that one song on it, called "I'm Sensitive"--one of my brothers, when he was much younger and his voice hadn't changed, would sing this song in the car even when the song wasn't playing. We give him so much trouble for it today, but we still know all the words. "I was thinking that I might fly today just to disprove all the things that you say..." etc. Didn't another song have lyrics like "You say he's a faggot but you love him" or something? And if not, where the hell did that come from? I remember the liner notes were just poems about her breasts. I bought her album Spirit and played the hell out of it, until my friend spilled nail polish on the disc and my whole world ended. |
Placebo, Asg and ash.

I always go back to the, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" argument. I like sex. I also have that classic guilt complex about it. Because I'm a bad person. |
Whip!

i like Ash too, also... Big Brother used to love The Vines but their new album is kinda shitty Ben and Jerrys (any flavor) The Beach Boys. |

I'm not judging you for it, I was just assuming you are in the guilty about sex club. |
i like comic books!

Judge not lest ye be judged. Hehe. I wasn't saying anything in particular to anyone in particular in that last post. Just words, on a screen. For the record, I am and I amn't in the guilty about sex club. It's all very confusing. But I like confusion... |

Yeah. I can sing that entire cd. The song Pieces of You goes something like "You say he's a faggot but do you hate him because he's pieces of you?" |
