i heard that one "dance of the moon and sun" a couple of years ago and i really had to force myself to listen to it all the way through, i didn't think it was bad it was just not that remarkable and very very long

Don't forget the sequel, "daughters of darkness v", that's already been released, adding an additional 90 minutes to the runtime.

Derek, all my thinking fellers stuff is on i300e on the old soulseek account. I have all side projects, rarities, etc. I don't have the capability at the moment to integrate the stuff from that computer to this account, so just download the old slsk, queue all that shit up, then delete it. Haha.

Right. So I'm officially 15 minutes into this and surprised to find that it's not turd. I'll probably sleep through a lot of it, but it's sounding pretty ok so far. It's a dirge. I like dirges.

There's not much drone to this. I've listened to it twice now. Very little drone. Lots of drift. It's surprisingly good, as it happens. No 'for Philip Guston', but definitely good.

Sorry, best 6 hour drift album of the year. Haha.

I just listened to this again today. It's surprising how things which are long seem more inviting than things which are not. Y'know, once you've got through the first 30 minutes you just kind of stop properly listening and assume you're enjoying it because you haven't turned it off.

Meanwhile, I tried to listen to Pavement yesterday and got about 40 seconds into an album before shouting at the stereo and taking the CD out. Horrible.

After this album, they released Daughter of Darkness V which is even better and they released Shadow Kingdom which I haven't listened to yet, because it's 2 1/2 hours long. Add in the 3 or 4 side project releases they've done this year, and these 2 people have released a good.. oh... 12 hours of music or something ridiculous. Luckily it's all been great (well I haven't heard Shadow Kingdom but I will soon; they've yet to release anything I didn't totally like).
