Most of you already know this, but we want to send this follow-up email so any of you that may not have heard the first time wont be bummed.
Tomorrow at 10AM EST, we'll send an email to all Buy Early Get Now members with a special buy-link and password to buy tickets to Sonic Youth's upcoming tour before they go on sale to the general public. You get a 24-hour jump on everyone else. Please keep your eyes peeled to your email! Also, keep in mind you can only get 4 tickets at a time.

Edit: If you got a regular presale message link that works, just use that and the BEGN password. I had to completing discard TicketMaster and I've only managed to get one of the shows I'm going to as of yet.

The emails from BEGN/Matador say tickets are available 10:00am Eastern time, but I'm pretty sure they're actually available at 10:00am of the time zone the show is in. Because I logged in at 10:02 Eastern, and tickets for Denver were unavailable, in fact the only shows that were available were NYC, Philly, Richmond and Atlanta...all on the Atlantic coast.

I guess we'll see if my theory is correct in about 10 minutes, if cities in the Central time zone are available.

Yeah, that is right. Nashville show is listed, but Knoxville show wasn't on Ticketmaster, but I got an email from that venue for the May 1st presale and the BEGN code worked, so all is well. Too bad it's seated, front row center though!

I'm trying to get tickets for the Seattle show. Do I go to ticketswest.com, and put in the password BLOCKPARTY?

I've done that already, but it doesn't say anything about SY, just the "Capitol Hill Block Party", so I'm skeptical... Help!

Sonic is playing at the block party. what is hard about that to understand??

Because IT DIDN'T SAY THAT on the ticket website, and I don't want to buy non-refundable tickets online, when I'm hearing that you can only get pre-sale tickets from promotional codes through buy now get early.

I didn't even know what the hell this block party is.

Sweet, just ordered my Knoxville ticket. Row A Orchestra Seat 18, right at the center of the stage.

How? Ticketmaster does not have any Knoxville tix yet, & Bijou's presale is not allowing people to purchase. Where did you go to get Knoxville tickets?

I hate that the Bijou is seated. I really don't think I'll be sitting. After a couple of songs, I'll be it at the edge of the stage like I should be. I saw Blonde Redhead there and sitting just made everything awkward.

Hell, when TVOTR came here, everyone just stood up, damned their seat assignment, & went to wherever there was space.

I hope to do the same...I'm not sure how the Bijou is going to handle this show. The only show I have ever seen at the Bijou was Sparklehorse ft. Fennesz as a part of Big Ears. There was almost no staff on hand and people sat where they wanted to even it wasn't general admission.

So I really have no idea on how the Bijou regularly operates.

Got three tickets for Philly today, I can't wait. I have a good feeling that SY will finally be able to hurt my ears again.
