I just got a message from one. He tried to act like a little jerky hurt puppy. He went on this diatribe trying to say hurtful things and then turn around and try and be cordial.

I told him I didn't even have a reply and gave him best wishes.

Boys are funny.

I realize that you guys don't really give two shits about this, but it was funny to me.

This tends to be my main method of communication a week or so into a relationship. Interesting that he waited until after yours was over. He's obviously the thoughtful type.

my very first boyfriend still wants me back. it's creepy and hilarious at the same time. we were together for ONE MONTH.

I've always wanted one of those. I unfortunately got wired up with one of thos 'hate-filled self-loathing' switches instead. Problem is, once it's switched on, it seems incapable of being switched off. Which is a real nuisance.

I'm relatively new and haven't checked out everything yet, but I've got one or two haunts. Great record stores. A couple of bars I like. I'm gonna check out the Fine Arts Movie Theater this weekend and see Tokyo.

Hahaha...I showed one of my best friends the message he sent me and she totally ripped him a new one. It was hilarious. In addition to the hilarity she also corrected his horrible spelling. That's why we've been friends since we were 9. :)

Edited for syntax: There is nothing like the combined fury of two women to put a man in his place.

Be careful, if her best friend gets a hold of your double negative the whole plan could collapse around you.

My God man, I've never seen you commit such a syntactical whirlwind of errors.

I have to edit/write basically 9-5 these days, wordsmithing scientific research papers by researchers who don't know how to put two words together. I'm a full-fledged working stiff. I'm making a lunch run to Greenlife soon and also planning on picking up my Friday night drink supply. But I can't decide if I want some good beer or a nice medium-priced wine. Maybe I should do an SY poll?

Normally its beer, but Chris suggested a bottle of rum, which I haven't drank in a while. He is planning on picking it up on his lunch break, so I don't have to worry about it.

But to help with your connundrum, what beer and what kind of wine?

I love good beer. But I also like a good Shiraz.
