I'm not sure who will agree with me on these or not but here's a few of mine...

The Velvet Underground & Nico - on the s/t album
M83 & Morgan Kibby - on album, saturdays = youth
SY & Chuck D (lol, just kidding)

etc. etc. there's a lot more I just can't think of any at the moment.

I think we've had this thread, but my all time favorite collaboration is the Residents/Renaldo and the Loaf's "Title in Limbo".

Not really a collaboration, since they were in the same band, but I really like the duet between Blixa Bargeld and Nick Cave on The Weeping Song.

I'm not sure if that really counts. incredible record though

I ordered a Borknagar album a few weeks ago, and they're quite the black metal supergroup, with Garm (Arcturus, Ulver) on vocals, Infernus (Gorgoroth) on bass, Grim (Gorgoroth, Immortal) on drums, Ivar Bjornson (Enslaved) on keyboards and Oystein G Brun (Molested) on guitar.

The Ex + Tom Cora released two albums.
My favourite is And the Weathermen Shrugged Their Shoulders.
I missed the Ex when they toured with Getatchew Mekurya; samples I got on Youtube were promising.

i suppose they are allcollaboreations yes, but the ones when two musician who are known for something else and cme togethr to crete a sort of temporary thing is more thought of as yknow, a collab.
