Yeah, it sounds incredible in there, don't get me wrong. It's gonna be strange being at a seated SY show, though.

How much is that in USD? I might be going to that show if they don't come anywhere closer like Cleveland, Buffalo, Youngstown, Dayton, Allentown or Pittsburgh.

Sonic Youth with seats? That is certainly a departure. However, having seen them at the Kool Haus during their last four North American tours, it will be nice to have a change in venue for once.

anybody know the deal with pre-sale? does this work in correlation with the buy early get now deal?

The Against The Grain site says "Check here" - so I'm guessing they'll post a pre-sale password usable at Ticketmaster or something...

I don't believe there will be a pre-sale for the Toronto show, if that's what you're talking about. There is no indication of such on ticketmaster.

yeah thanks for posting I didn't think I'd get a chance to see them on this tour... i'm gonna have to make sure i have my passport or that horrid Enhanced Driver License that NYS requires (because for the money might as well get a passport!).

Will there be a BEGN presale for this? It was one of the main reasons I preordered, after all. Able to clear this up, Moshe?

really? it sounds good in there, but i'm not keen on sitting down for a sonic youth concert...

also hoping we get something from BEGN especially if we're fighting for seats...how can we get more info?

last thought: it seems really unfair that we have to pay almost double what everyone in the states is paying to sit in seats that (i dont think) many people even want to be in

I am just happy they are coming. When I saw the Stooges last year no one was really in the seats.

It will be my first SY show.
But..Massey Hall? I love the venue so much, but..seats? Ugh.
Am I just going to have to jump up and down in my little square foot of space?

i've emailed BEGN to ask them about any presale stuff since i would be really pissed if we didn't get anything from BEGN especially if we're fighting for good seats here. hopefully i'll hear back tomorrow and will post anything when i hear back!

how could they play a seated venue after releasing an album like the Eternal?

Ah - had missed that - this could be a "Friends Of Massey Hall" (ie: people signed up - not sure if there's a fee - with Massey)... don't know for sure, though... also looked like Against The Grain might have a presale... still unsure, though...

So Fleet Foxes pretty much broke the Massey Hall site yesterday with their presale. Hopefully they get everything back up and running by noon for SY, as I'm guessing that's where the presale will be.

Is anyone aware if there will be a ticket window open on Ticketmaster for the second pre-sale, prompting you to enter the Massey Hall pre-sale code? Or are tickets only purchased and shipped through the Massey Hall web site?
