Okay this song is just awful. There are Christmas bells in it. This song isn't built for Christmas. He's talking about war and spacemen. So maybe if your idea of Christmas is meeting up with Martians, I mean, if you're into MST3k you've likely seen the classic Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. It's a bit like that.

So apparently this song's underlying theme is reincarnation and time travel. He comes back in an interstellar blast to save the universe and he is born again, which ties into the Christmas theme. Thom Yorke is a born-again Christian.

That's.. what this guitar solo is about. It's a very, very spiritual thing for Thom. It's how he became a car, since Thom Yorke can do anything. The ending of this song is a few bleeps and blips that hide a message of things to come: Thom Yorke is transcending into android status.

Troll.

And 99% of the board will file this topic under the "Who gives a fuck?" file.

You people have zero sense of humor. Are you the kinds of people who don't even laugh at comedians? My roommate was like that, he'd sit down and watch Family Guy and never even smile, it's really quite freaky to watch a show meant for comedy if you aren't going to laugh.

Oh, I do too, which is why I said "meant for comedy". It's like why would someone watch a so-called "comedy" show if they aren't going to laugh at it? Perhaps he sees Family Guy as a nail-biting drama, and, like, I don't know, nip/tuck is his brand of comedy.

Yeeeeeeeeeah. I just want to say, again, here... Family Guy isn't funny. It's entertaining (if a bit annoying), though -- don't get me wrong... but that kind of humor is a bit... humorless (oh man! Random references to random shit! A 3 year old could write this material! Skeletor busting through a wall screaming "SHOW ME DA MONEY!" HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA). Just... eh. I think it's probably the worst comedy ever made next to Seth Macfarlane's other shitty projects.

Even though this thread is silly/pointless (like most of Summer's other threads), summer accomplished his goal and actually made me laugh. Well, I was actually laughing, thinking of that episode of MST3K. But it worked! Also, Airbag IS a bad song, I think... never saw the big deal with it, it's straight-up boring.

Oh, and Jeremy, I'm sorry we fought when you first joined on the board. You're starting to become one of my favorite posters now. Haha.

Yes! Troll2 is incredible. I love that movie!

I just found out that Joe D' did a Troll3 in Italy. But here's the kicker: he actually made 2 films called Troll3 in Italy. One that has nothing to do with the other Troll films, but then one of them is something about a sword, and it does feature a Troll character who seems to re-use a costume from Troll2. I can't recall the alternate title now. But I found a clip on YouTube a while ago, and it was hilarious. I'd love to find the third film.

The alternate title for Troll 3 was... uh.. Creepies or some shit I think? It had plant creatures or some shit. I remember reading about it a while back.
But.. I'm too lazy to look it up now.

yr thinking of Crawlers. Which is about plants or something. But then there's another Troll 3 which actually has a Troll as the main character. Hang on.

I once heard Troll 2 was one of the worst films of all time. But this image intrigues me; they resemble satanic Ewoks.
Plus, I've also heard the same thing said about 'Howard The Duck' plenty of times, and I've loved that one ever since I was a youngin'.

Troll 2 is really bad. But it's great. I don't mean it's so bad it's good. I mean it's incredible that it even exists as a film. But it's enjoyable to watch. I could watch it anytime.

Back when I was 5, or so, I had a dream where I was bubble bathing, in my grandmother's pink bathroom, with a female human-duck. Except her breasts were much larger, and she had a thin-waisted hourglass figure (think Jessica Rabbit).

I remember not knowing what to make of what I was doing, and what I was doing it with, but then my older cousin walked in, pointed, teased, and ran off to tell grandma what I was doing. I woke up, in a cold panic.

I felt very funny the day after.

I thought it was funny summer. Finish the album.

I love that I hijacked this thread.

Next time: I review every song on another album that's been talked about to death already!
