ACTUALLY, this cover is kind of awesome.

I know someone who bought that cd. I work with that someone every night actually.

Those two are just unbelievably awful.

Seriously though, Big Bear IS awful. But I never understood what was so horrible about the Main Source one.

IMO D&tM that one's actually a pretty good cover given the genre. It suits it.

breaking atoms is one of the best album covers ever, it's a perfect fit for the production style and the low budgetness makes it look fun

Not really, I mean, there's loads of black metal album covers that are better than this. I think that to make a decent BM album cover, you don't have a picture of the band members on it (unless it's something like Mayhem's Live in Leipzig - a cover where Dead is shrouded in darkness, only lit by a candle ie. something mysterious and not laughable because of the silly poses and facial expressions).

this is the hard part about even trying to discuss cover art. It's visual art. It's subjective. A lot of what is being posted here as "worst art" to me is so bad, that it's amazing, meaning it's great. So it's the best. Not the worst. A lot of them I'd be proud to have in my collection. I'd display that shit. Even Big Bear. Because I mean. C'mon. Look at that shit!

It's the old classic feeling of so bad it's good.

you need to ask yourself what's the prespective of those cover art are called "worst cover art ever", i understand what you saying, but like everthing there are kind of "lobbys" for something, and most of them are just "capitalist lobbys" who wants to control the tendency of art...why i cannot say this is one of the worst cover art ever????:

It's pretty ugly(same with the cover of bad moon rising and dirty). But yeah, it remains 'your favorite music' and everything is nearly holy to most people around here on that record and so is the cover. I see it so.

Bad Moon Rising's cover is ugly? What eyes are you using to look at it? That's one of their best covers!

with the same eyes you used it to say the others covers are "not the worst"...always subjectiv...but for my personal taste bad moon cover it's a great cover!
