impossible to answer.
it's atmosphere, drone, feedback, noise what gets me and it's in many (well..) songs, that's why it's impossible to answer. i'm trying to think of some sy song that i used to listen over and over...many songs tho. i love "edges", sugar cane is fantastic by the way.

Great video too.At the time that 'Dirty' came out,this particular song was castigated for being a Jesus and Mary Chain rip-off.As if that would be something to be castigated for.

Cotton Crown is 5000000x better live...the recorded version seems to be like ..a mockery of the hook in the song (which is actually fucking incredible)

yeah, i spoke to magicwheelmemory who has seen sonic youth about 12 times and he said that Kotton Krown or Cotton Crown is fantastic live. its his favourite sonic youth song too.

Thinking about it I'd have to say Sunday. Especially when the freak out kicks in although Washing Machines freak out is something special too.

I've seen Kotton Krown live twice......oh yes.
