I know that it's unlikely that Sonic Youth will ever play an entire older album start to finish like on the Daydream Nation shows, but if they did what would you like to hear?

My vote goes for Murray St. It's orgasmic and epic and joyous...1000 Leaves would be really cool too.

Anyone in Toronto want to petition them to come back to Massey Hall and play Murray St?!?

definitely Washing Machine. their most creative and innovative album

the whitey album would have been interesting indeed. they should have played some of the tracks as the encore of the DDN gigs instead of the rather ripped tunes which destroyed the overall feel a lil bit and seemed dull compared to the songs before it

I've seen em' play A Thosand Leaves and Murray Street start to finish .
They should take the plunge and try Experimental....that'd be a challenge.

Yeah, of course. Basically did in 1985, except they didn't play "Justice is Might" and did play "Expressway to Yr. Skull". Still, I'd be down if they did it again.

Silver Sessions would be nice too, though slightly more impossible.

Bad Moon Rising

Sonic Youth should pull a Sparks in 2011 - celebrate their 30 year anniversary by playing their entire discography over 16 (17 if they do another one) nights in some NYC venue.

It's very un-SY-like, but I can dream...

I'd say bad moon rising because it's the most cohesive album they've made. It works really well from start to finish. It'd be great to hear them recreate the between song dynamics they did on the tour.
