Blueberry pancakes: Artificial or Homemade?
 

I prefer the instant mix kind, oddly. The homemade ones, with REAL blueberries inside.. you would think that, by default of being "real", that they would taste better, but... they kind of suck. Disappointingly.

I'm gonna have to agree. And they're super messy and really not all that fun to eat either.

I don't think I've had either. I used to like the waffles with the blueberries inside. Only they weren't real blueberries.

and they're so fuckin easy to make. also real berries inside the crêpes, untouched by heat and smothered in clotted cream. i've been buying unhomogenized grass-fed milk from a local dairy... sometimes the cream floating on it is already clotted up... fucking exquisite.

pancakes are ok in moderation. french toast w/powdered sugar and maple syrup
or belgian waffles w/strawberries and whipcream for the win though.

i haven't had a real good bagel in a while.

a real god bagel with cream cheese trumps all other breakfast breads/bakes/flour-based. and the egg+bacon+biscuit combo trumps all else
