iphone - voice memos
 

last night i realized you can record conversations with the voice memo app. i keep my phone in my bra anyway and it works great. the screen can be off and it appears to record indefinitely. tomorrow i'm going to record my work evaluation with my crazy old boss (some of you might recall some of the history of this).

i think other people should also record convos and share them!

I took a voice memo of my wife SCREAMING at me like a harpy in the car about driving in 3rd gear.

you should hear it. she sounds like a real life crazy person!!!!

Technically, the only snakes you are likely (or, actually unlikely because of their rarity) is the sea snake and the Island Blind Snake (which looks more like a worm). However, there may be many species of invasive snakes brought to Hawaii illegally. Luckily, most are confiscated.

As for spiders, there are several kinds. But tarantulas are not native to Hawaii.

yeah, of course.

I just really like the way these sound. Fulfills my every desire. Because the quality of the recording and the weird voices sound kinda surreal and ridiculous anyway. Also, I think telephone distortion is the best type of distortion. Plus, what can I say? I have some voyeuristic tendencies to hear people ramble about stuff that I have no idea about. It invokes a sense of mystery and wonder. I'll get drunk tomorrow and try to make some art to put some to these wonderful gifts.

or a phone with buttons that actually made the number that hey have written on them, come on the screen when you press them.

yer phone is broke or just that crappy?

it is broken. my end call button makes the 5 happen. repeatedly.. as well as hanging up/ending whatever Im doing. my 5 ends calls.. so I can't type any phone number with a 5 or use any of those letters when Im typing a text. It's one of those nokia slide phones.. and the play/pause buttons make the numbers 4 and 6. oh, and pressing one cancels out of whatever I'm doing.. so I can't type 1's either. my camera 'take photo' button focuses the camera but wont take any photos.
