As for Pink, I thought she had a couple of OK songs, nothing too embarassing, but not really my kind of thing. :)

I agree that you should be proud that you're a Pink fan. That said, :fuckyou:. I liked some of her songs when I was in Jr High but there's a point when you should grow up.

I LOVE mellow gold-Midnight Vultures, with Mutations probably being my favorite. Love that secret song on it.

Flaming lips are just meh to me, but they have a couple nice tunes.

I'd go and see Pink if someone got me a ticket. Properly massive pop shows are always consumate and entertaining.

I've suffered the audacious crapness of the Flaming Lips on no less than 3 ocassions, and seen Beck twice. If ever there was an advert for not taking ecstasy, it's be my face trying to enjoy music as execrable as 'the Lips'.

The same weekend I cried at Rolf Harris.

I admire Pink for having the courage to try and rise above the manufactured pop diva level, but I can't say I'm much of a fan.

She's a very pretty girl. However, if you're ever considering checking out the film Catacombs, in which she has a decent-sized role... don't.

For what it's worth, I appreciate the fact that she has tried to be at least a tiny bit socially aware. But I can't really get too excited about her music.
