Here's one basic one for me: I'm a left-winger pacificist but I was proud to serve my country as an AF officer. I mean, wtf is up with that?

How is that a contradiction? I thought all Catholic girls were naughty. At least the ones I knew were.

hah. You'd be suprised at how many ppl still think Catholic schools produce smart, pure, good girls. They don't even know they are in denial. Another example of this mindset is the denial ppl still hold re: child-molesting priests.

Intolerant people bug me, but sometimes I'm not sure I'm that tolerant either. :s

Although I'm not religious at all really, people who say they don't believe in god really bug me.

Although I'm not religious and really don't believe in God, it does bug me when people put down other people for believing in God or for their religious beliefs. As long as nobody tries to impose their beliefs on me, I'm fine with whatever anybody chooses to believe or not believe.

I hate abortions, but I do believe a woman has a right to choose. Just wish they go for adoptions.

I don't live by or believe in religions but I try to live spiritually.

yah, if only the process of adoption did not involve so much red tape and exclude so many potential parents.

Yeah, maybe it comes down to the types I come across. They all seem to put people down who believe in God. They don't seem to realize that they're being just as intolerant and proselytising as the religious types they profess to abhor.
