joe11121 09.07.2009 10:15 PM

haha, how do you get the signs out of the ground or off the pole or whatever they are on?

Satan 09.07.2009 10:17 PM

unscrew them from the pole with the appropriate tools

usually a monkey wrench.

amerikangod 09.07.2009 10:18 PM

Probz a 5mm wrench.

amerikangod 09.07.2009 10:18 PM

Actually, 10mm. 5mm would be crazy.

artsygrrl 09.07.2009 10:20 PM

oh yeah, cheese

gmku 09.08.2009 06:21 AM

I am not a crook!

However, I went through a rather daring patch in college that I'm not particularly proud of when I thought nothing of five-finger discounts from the department store where I worked. I worked in the men's department and as a stock boy. I'd cop shirts, jackets, cologne, sweaters, ties. Even took a pair of koss headphones from the stereo dept once. Easy as shit. Usually just walked out with them the nights I worked stock because it was my job to sweep up and so I was the last one left in the place. No guards, no cameras. Even though I wore the clothes to work, nobody was ever the wiser.

The day I stopped was the day the men's manager looked long and hard at the shirt I was wearing and said, "I don't remember you getting that. When'd you get that?" I just said, "Last Saturday. You were here. Don't you remember?"

That might have been it for me except that a few days later the guy was fired for poor "inventory control."

But that was my sign to stop. That shook me up enough that I never stole there or anywhere else since.

Trasher02 09.08.2009 07:24 AM

Last thing I stole were a couple of albums at some geezers homeparty.
Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond and a Some Girls cd, those were the only two decent albums in his collection.

phoenix 09.08.2009 07:56 AM

I don't remember the last time I stole something from a shop. probably when I was 5.

floatingslowly 09.08.2009 08:11 AM

TheFoxBen 09.08.2009 09:36 AM

Aside from downloading music, I stole absolutely nothing.

If you are going to get something from Hot Topic, you might as well steal it. Their clothing is of the shittiest quality anyway.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 09.08.2009 03:49 PM

when I was a youth we used to steal a lot of shit, basically everything we needed and wanted, household things, entertainment, food, booze. Any and everything you could possibly steal from the grocery store or big chain stores like Target or Best Buy.

the trophy:

two full pallets of coke twelve packs

Satan 09.08.2009 03:51 PM

how the fuck did you pull that off?

Depends on whose dumpster you're diving in.

terriblecanyons 09.08.2009 04:25 PM

Mostly food. Sometimes makeup (I know, I'm not 13, blah blah). One time me and a friend collectively stole 13 pomegranates.

Even though I know that what I did was "wrong," I never felt any guilt. I still don't. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Does that mean that basically I'm criminal?
