I freaking love this show. Pam is such a doll:D

Commence obligatory "The UK version is better" comments.

barry swedgin 09.18.2009 03:13 PM

Well it is. The original is usually the best!

jon boy 09.18.2009 03:16 PM

saw the new one last night and yeh its still funny but at some point its going to get rubbish. i hope that they stop before then and dont try and milk it.

jennthebenn 09.18.2009 03:19 PM

Parkour!

Still waiting for October and the return of the greatest comedy on TV.

SuperCreep 09.18.2009 03:21 PM

yawn.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is back Sunday. That's all I care about.

Keeping It Simple 09.18.2009 03:24 PM

I much prefer the US version.

whorefrost 09.18.2009 03:28 PM

This thread just made me remember the new series of Peep Show commences tonight.

barry swedgin 09.18.2009 03:30 PM

^Peep Show roolz!

Keeping It Simple 09.18.2009 03:30 PM

Peep Show is crap.

floatingslowly 09.18.2009 03:39 PM

Parks & Recreation was fucking hilarious last night.

fucking gay penguins, man.

jerf 09.18.2009 04:18 PM

I can't get into Parks and Recreation. Just like 30 Rock, I feel like it tries to be more funny that it actually is. Idk, maybe I should give it another try.

That show "Community" after The Office looked pretty funny. What's Chevy Chase doing, slumming for a paycheck?

30 Rock, as a series, started slow. it might now be the funniest thing since Seinfeld.

I wasn't that into Parks & Recreation last year, but last night was genius-level funny.

Kloriel 09.18.2009 04:24 PM

i fucking hated community. and i was kinda excited about it. parks wasn't bad; i haven't really followed it much. I wonder how much of their following is based on the potential lesbian tension between amy and the brunette

Derek 09.18.2009 04:25 PM

I like the US version of The Office better and I'm British!

Peep Show rules.

The UK regards Chevy Chase as the personification of Mad magazine.

Fixed.

automatic bzooty 09.18.2009 04:54 PM

PARKOUR, PARKOUR!!!

Community was pretty lame. Parks & Rec just... doesn't work for me, awesome as Amy Poehler is. 30 Rock rules.

(edit: if I like the US Office, am I going to hate the UK Office?)

jerf 09.18.2009 06:32 PM

I heard that Adult Swim was going to show the UK version of The Office. I'll have to watch it and compare. But I do love me some Steve Carrell.

Truth.

jon boy 10.09.2009 12:41 AM

really good episode tonight. pams mum and michael, oh man.

alteredcourse 10.09.2009 01:33 AM

\You know what, damn right it was!

It was fucking awesome!

The pieces with each character in the car on the way to the wedding was just signature of each character. Usually in shows, they get crazy and make sad try-hard caricatures of themselves, but it turned out brief and poignant and good.

I dont know what else to say, it really surprised me.

pbradley 10.09.2009 01:43 AM

It's some kind of sick joke having grown up in the 90's with movies like Office Space to come to see office cubical work with envy.

alteredcourse 10.09.2009 02:01 AM

I say this often.

Ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

Silent Dan Speaks 10.09.2009 02:32 AM

I used to really like the office, but I don't like how it's become so plot/drama based. Once they revealed Pam was pregnant I realized I didn't care anymore.

jennthebenn 10.09.2009 07:39 AM

When Dwight kicked the bridesmaid in the face...no words for that moment.

jerf 10.09.2009 04:20 PM

I was just shocked to see Dwight hook up with a hot chick.

He's so goofy I can't imagine any attractive ladies being that into him in real life.

demonrail666 10.09.2009 04:54 PM

i've never seen the american version but the english one is better

artsygrrl 10.09.2009 08:54 PM

Curb your Enthusiam is great but Dexter is wickedly great.

floatingslowly 10.09.2009 09:02 PM

I wanted to punch the tv when they started the dancing wedding. fuck dancing.

artsygrrl 10.09.2009 09:06 PM

Dexter started out kickass but when his squeez got preg and they got married it ruined it. I hate "happily ever after" shit. But I'm gonna keep watching it anyway.
