I love Israel. Am I the only here who has visited the country?

i've been there twice (the last time was during the war this past jan) and have lots of family/old friends i grew up with there, including a bunch in the army. israel is beautiful and i love a lot of it's culture, however let's just say that i am far from being a zionist for a multiplicity of reasons....

right. in the mid 90s i spent almost a year there first with a girlfriend then in a kibbutz. my first childhood friend still lives there and we email + talk on skype regularly. the ex and i however have not ever spoken again-- it was too intense to continue as "just friends".

i love tel-aviv. it's a fucking great town.

maybe we shouldn't ask these guys ;)
