Cool merchandise
 
What cool band merchadise do you own? I'm not interested in t-shirts, hats and posters, it's the slightly off the wall stuff I want to know about.

To start the ball rolling, I have:

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds tea towel
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds bookmark

and my favourite:

Einstuerzende Neubauten chef's apron

The Sonic Youth beach towel will be joining those three pretty soon.

I have a collaboration video installation with Mats Gustaffson.
I shot an improvised video piece of ten minutes and he scored the piece with improvised huffs and sax blows. That's like 4 years ago.

It was meant for an expo of mine but the piece was finished too late.
Mabey I shoot look at it again and do something with it.

Thurston was supposed to score the piece as well but it never came to that. The project still has a weird vibe though.

i've got shitloads of T-shirts from different bands, but i think my most prized possession is the Goo Mug in which i gulp my coffee from each morning, a friend of mine got it for me for xmas last year and i love it!

HAHA the Australian punk band Frenzal Rhomb had these stubbie holders (wetsuit type things that cover your beer to keep the coolness) and it actually had the glove connected to the stubbie holder. So you don't have to hold the beer. If you knwo what I mean, and you've seen one, it's fucking funny to see someone using one.

They were on sale at the 25th anniversary shows last year. They may go on sale on their website at some point, but don't hold your breath.

There's a thread on the EN supporters' board about their merchandise, luxinterior, so I've put a post on there asking them to start selling the aprons again. I'm not the first to ask, so maybe pressure of numbers will help, you never know...
