The Polywave versus the Pegadrift

Which would win in a confrontation?

whorefrost 10.19.2009 04:33 PM

Or not necessarily which would win but which do you prefer, if you have a preference?

Lurker 10.21.2009 06:37 PM

Wow this thread died. I'm the only who has voted and I don't even know what those two things are.

whorefrost 10.22.2009 11:53 AM

The Pegadrift has taken the lead.

Glice 10.22.2009 12:05 PM

Polywave FTW. Lurker, I respect you and all, but pegadrift better than polywave? Seriously, you're fucked in the head.

Lurker 10.22.2009 06:50 PM

WHAT?!?! The pegadrift blows the polywave out of the water! For a start it's features are incredible! And its reliability is extremely consistent. There's no contest!

floatingslowly 10.23.2009 08:53 AM

pegadrift, obviously. polywaves are for stinkin' hippies.

Features, he says. Functionality, mate. You'll soon come crying back to the polywave when your precious pegadrift's features have gone up the Khyber, you mark my words sunshine.

Herr Slowly, I'm not even going to dignify you with a response. I think we all know which one is the one for stinkin' hippies, and it sure ain't the sleek, sexy, non-hippy polywave, you mark my words.

Oh yes, we'll both mark your words...with a sticker that says disregard, he's clearly drunk!!!

Glice 10.23.2009 03:14 PM

I'm sure that would've hurt, had I been sober.

Lurker 10.23.2009 03:41 PM

Well, lets hope that when you wake in the morning sober and hungover from the error of your ways that you see the light of pegadrift.

Glice 10.23.2009 03:45 PM

Polywave, you mark my words.

I have to go out again in an hour or so as well. I'm not sure if a cup of tea is a good idea. What would polywave do...?

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 03:50 PM

The problem here is that free market competition has forced each into exclusive monopolies on features and functionality, respectively. We need a new competitor to combine the best qualities of each for an unreasonable price.

Anyway, the whole concept is impractical. I would never actually buy one.

Glice 10.23.2009 03:53 PM

Fuck you! I fucking hate poseurs like you. Fucking 'free market'. It's not about fucking capitalism, you fuckcandle, it's about the polywave versus the pegadrift. If you can't see that then you're some sort of faggy poseur who can just go back to the dark ages with the racists and Flemish.

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 03:59 PM

Don't ever compare me to the Flemish.

WWPD - happily both pegadrift and polywave agree that this is a good idea. They both recommend coffee.

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 04:06 PM

Because they're both owned by PepsiCo, you ignorant fucks. You're fueling the monster.

Glice 10.23.2009 04:10 PM

While I'm in this thread, does anyone fancy a game of Mornington Crescent?

If so, Euston.

Lurker 10.23.2009 04:11 PM

Fuck yes, let me get my tube map.

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 04:12 PM

I don't know what that means, but I'm assuming you must be British to play.

Glice 10.23.2009 04:12 PM

Nah man, just google tube map and join in.

Lurker 10.23.2009 04:13 PM

Liverpool Street

Glice 10.23.2009 04:14 PM

Glice 10.23.2009 04:15 PM

Oooh! BURN!

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 04:16 PM

South Kensington?

Lurker 10.23.2009 04:17 PM

Swiss Cottage

Glice 10.23.2009 04:22 PM

South Kensington is ok, but you should go really careful using that sort of tactic.

Latimer Road.

acousticrock87 10.23.2009 04:24 PM

Westminster

Lurker 10.23.2009 04:38 PM

Excellent move

Notting Hill Gate

I don't know if you caught the 2007 Championship but Arthur McLaren went for something like that strategy and it ended up to be a complete red herring. Hope you can wrestle something better out of it.

East Putney

Glice 10.24.2009 04:15 AM

I've got it covered, but I like what you're doing.

Holloway road.

acousticrock87 10.24.2009 10:15 AM

Ravenscourt Park

I'm switching strategies. Was not prepared for this kind of game.
