Ughh... I felt soooo bad this morning. Worst morning of my life. I was at parliment all day and had 2 colts and I was plastered and I was asking random people if they would have sex with me. After the chronic kicked in I was yelling at the fireworks and calling the smaller ones "midgets". Then worst of all, I got invited to a girls house for the night and I couldn't go because of work...

jon boy 07.02.2006 09:12 AM

they live with the french and have the americans as neighbours. they need something to brighten up their days!

only joking i really like canada actually, lots of family there.

Everyneurotic 07.02.2006 10:09 AM

Is being Canadian really that heavy? Wow. You're bigger junkies than fucking England.

cool, but it's hard not know somebody in a band that employs half the population of montreal.

LittlePuppetBoy 07.02.2006 12:19 PM

Yes! I was at parliament hill. Quite a good show.

and for the first time, I hung out with a drunk person (hint: it's someone who has posted on this)

plus, to kick off Canada Day, I bought the Whitey album

Word. The entire musical population I believe.

startur 07.02.2006 02:48 PM

i went to major hill park to see Buck 65 dish out some rhymes. it was a pretty good show. but overall it was a bad day. i forgot my friend's cell phone number so i couldn't meet up with my friends.i didn't get as drunk as i would of liked too, and to top it off i got soaked by the rain and some guy called me a fag, must have been the white sunglasses. oh well, it's not like Canada Day comes only once a year.

"Now, now, the Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions!"

Inhuman 07.02.2006 02:58 PM

Aww I can't see how people could want to do something like strap a firework to a rabbit. Next canada day everybody that's on the board that's going to parliment should meet up! When Buck 65 played I was on the ground because I told my friend I could kick his ass, but I was really drunk and he slapped me and I fell. After I went home, I went to work drunk, then came back and drank more beer.

what do canadians typically do for canada day?

for america day us americans smoke large amounts of herion and set off explosives

acousticrock87 07.02.2006 03:04 PM

Apparently they do they same thing.

Except they strap harmless little animals to the explosives first.

flophousefloozie 07.02.2006 03:09 PM

THANK YOU!

We're big on the weed and extra strong 10% beer on canada day.

HaydenAsche 07.02.2006 03:25 PM

^agreed

finding nobody 07.02.2006 03:26 PM

ha! i have to work on 4th of july this year. no drugs or alchohol for me. not that i would be getting fucked up anyway

acousticrock87 07.02.2006 03:36 PM

I'm not even scheduled for that day, but I'm going to be a loser and stay home this year. Last year was horrible.

That's kind of stupid. It should be the other way around. That way the trafficking won't cause gang wars. Those Canadian gangs are viscious, eh?

finding nobody 07.02.2006 03:57 PM

i gotcha.
do you and inhuman know eachother? i just realized you live in the same town

Haha, like the law can stop you, Emma. ;)

LittlePuppetBoy 07.02.2006 06:51 PM

I know Inhuman

startur 07.02.2006 07:20 PM

smoke 'em if you got 'em, i say. the cops didn't care about drugs and alcohol, mostly just fighting. i think the band you're talking about Emmah is Blackie and the rodeo kings and/or possibly Collin James. Overall the setlist at both hills was bad, the only decent band at Parliament were Stars but even still. i can't stand that guys voice, he sounds like the type of guy that cries after sex.

Inhuman 07.02.2006 09:15 PM

Emmah and I don't know eachother even though we live in the same town, we talk through PM's about concerts and stuff pretty often. I know Littlepuppetboy and Joey in person and that's pretty much it.

And yeah, there's been tonnes of rumors about weed being legal in canada. In my area people actually believed that they wouldn't stop you if you had 5g or less, but they'll usually just take it away and not do anything about it. Decriminalization also wasn't passed because of fucking Stephen Harper. Damn right wing government. I'm definately voting NDP next year while I can.

jon boy 07.03.2006 03:52 AM

i've smoked pot in the middle of the street in broad daylight and nobody paid any attention.

yeah done the same myself, i just got dissaproving looks and the odd smile.

startur 07.03.2006 01:01 PM

i guess this question is only directed to Emmah and Inhuman, but out of curiousity are any of you going to Bluesfest? I want to know about more good shows to see then just wilco, broken social scene, new pornographers, metric, etc...

finding nobody 07.03.2006 01:06 PM

who's playing bluesfest?

startur 07.03.2006 10:21 PM

you leave Rihanna out of this!

Joey 07.03.2006 10:45 PM

Slap me if you want, but I actually really want to see Metric. They are a guilty pleasure of mine, I admit.
