RIP Jeremy Clarkson

Ok, so this hasn't happened - yet. I'm thinking that we could start a grass-roots campaign to shame Clarkson into offing himself. Y'know, internet power and all that. Who's with me?

demonrail666 12.19.2009 11:11 AM

Needless to say, I'm in.

I just don't think he'd take any notice.

jon boy 12.19.2009 11:54 AM

i will be there! can we throw in the other two as well??

demonrail666 12.19.2009 12:20 PM

I don't actually mind James May. I'd spare him but Hammond, definitely!

jon boy 12.19.2009 12:24 PM

will it be slow, or shall they just be put out of their misery quickly? some kind of text vote via sky news should be in order.

demonrail666 12.19.2009 12:31 PM

I think they should both be forced to drive electric powered cars around a track filled with speed cameras, until they die.

gmku 12.19.2009 01:27 PM

I don't even fucking know who the fuck he fucking is. Ha!

He's an outspoken TV celebrity. Jon boy, Glice and Demonrail666 clearly don't like outspoken TV celebrities. Personally, I couldn't give a toss.

gmku 12.19.2009 01:50 PM

Hmm. Guess I don't watch enough TV.

chicka 12.19.2009 01:55 PM

Dam Glice didn't refer to him as either a "prick" or "cunt" this guy must be some kind of a dirtbag probably along the lines Morton Downey....

There's outspoken TV celebrities and there's the very slurry of human existence, nudging everything that's good and holy into the eternal abyss of damnation, cursing all of humanity with them.

So, as a for instance, Jamie Oliver fits into the former category; Clarkson, meanwhile, the latter.

a rep worthy post that.

i would like to see clarkson read tolstoy out loud while riding a moped over a minefield.

Keeping It Simple 12.19.2009 02:16 PM

Nah.

Genteel Death 12.19.2009 02:18 PM

Where does jonboy fit into all this?

Oh, dear. Does one need to get a life?

Just asking?

Keeping It Simple 12.19.2009 02:37 PM

It's clear some users of the net suffer from delusions of grandeur, as they feel they can make or break anyone in showbiz on a whim by simply posting either a positive or negative view of them. The opinions of sociopaths with personal agendas on the net seriously means squat, and the more people take their unhinged prattle less seriously, the better.

gmku 12.19.2009 02:44 PM

Wise words.

Does getting a life involve being obsessed with my appearance and continuing to talk about records that predate your audience by at least 20 years?

Keeping it simple - I appreciate that you're a tory - that's fine. The fact that you're a cunt is slightly less fine.

Get over yourself.

gmku 12.19.2009 02:55 PM

Glice... you're silly. But you're also British and you're also young... so forgiveness.

I blame the British Empire for their insufferable, self-opinionated arrogance.

gmku 12.19.2009 03:00 PM

Quaite raight, indeed. Hear, hear!

ha ha, fuck, I'm sure we're gonna get neg repped by all the Brit fags now!

Glice 12.19.2009 03:43 PM

gmku - very good of you. I wish you and yours the merriest of Christmases.

Keeping it Simple - you're still a fuckwit.

Up yours.

gmku 12.19.2009 03:45 PM

Well said. My sentiments exactly.

Glice 12.19.2009 03:46 PM

I did a lol.

gmku 12.19.2009 03:48 PM

"an" lol.

sheesh.

Glice 12.19.2009 03:52 PM

The unaspirated l went out with AIDS, surely?

gmku 12.19.2009 04:12 PM

El begins w/ a vowel, you British numbskull.

Glice 12.19.2009 04:37 PM

Well, it very much depends on whether you're pronouncing it 'el-o-el' or 'lol'; I prefer the latter, especially as you get the delightful 'lolercaust' and 'lolercopter' (a relative of the more common 'roflcopter'), whereas the initialised 'el-o-el' is rather plain, I feel.

In fact, I'd argue the predominant reading of lol in the last 2-3 years or so has switched from 'el-o-el' to 'lol', but you'd need to speak to Oxford about that.

gmku 12.19.2009 04:40 PM

Ha ha. God, you Brits are a stitch.

demonrail666 12.19.2009 04:42 PM

we do try

Glice 12.19.2009 04:44 PM

Do we? I'm too busy selecting top hats from the gallery adjoining my scullery to be anything other than a cad. 'Stitch' sounds like a rum affair, and I'll have none of that poppycock round my castle, you mark my words.

you keep your top hats near the scullery? my good sir this simply will not do. a gentleman should always keep his top hats within felt lined box away from any of the servant classes, or americans over from the colonies.

Glice 12.19.2009 04:56 PM

I kill my servants at the close of each season. 'Tis the only way to keep the buggers down, what?

gmku 12.19.2009 04:57 PM

Brits.

End of story.

demonrail666 12.19.2009 05:21 PM

we should just leave you to your collection of Cary Grant and James Bond films, and your Rolling Stones LPs. It must be awful to know you were born in the wrong country, it really must.

gmku 12.19.2009 05:28 PM

I was born in the country whose brave soldiers died to keep Nazis from taking over your soft limey asses.
