I like the convoluted references - you've got a medieval fair with pseudo-daguerreotype lighting, psychedelic colouring, scrapbook framing and plenty of modern touches to the subjects. It's funny. I like the ketchup one best.

great fucking photos flotto

are they really 30 years old? (i see "mar 80" on some edges)

did you take them? or did you just cull them from the interwebs? (i'm too lazy to check the links).

if you took the photos, congrats.

floatingslowly 03.28.2010 10:56 AM

I took them using an app that let's me control film, lens and flash as I take them.

there are no post photo edits.

and thank you, I was inspired.

such a freakshow.

Pookie 03.29.2010 05:57 PM

Keeps them off the streets I suppose.

My family used to drag us to medieval battle reenactments when I was a boy.

Sometimes all of the woman's clothes used to get ripped off in the melee.

(Part of that statement may not be true).

SONIC GAIL 03.30.2010 09:09 AM

Those are great! We used to have a midieval fair in highschool. It was quite fun.

SONIC GAIL 03.30.2010 09:11 AM

Civil War reinactments are popular in this area.

I used to go to a lot of those as a child as well. Different civil war naturally.

But I did take part in an American Civil War reenactment once.

I've lived a full and varied life.
