when you steal things
do you do it stealthily and act suspicious?
there is a guy at my apartment complex coffee machine who clearly is a contractor here and has been standing there for about 15 minutes brewing about 20 coffees to put in his 'flask' which he keeps hiding behind the machine in case someone is looking? He gave me evil looks before, because he saw that I was watching. if you're going to steal shit just do it. Well.. if it's coffee.. you know. I'm not sure he'd be made to give it back?> |
he also just walked up and told me a crude joke.
he was missing one front tooth. Oh christmas. |
there is now a ranga on the tv singing happy christmas ( war is over ).
yeah. |
you have free coffee in your building?

honestly though I'd likely be living in a box if my mother hadn't helped me out to the tune of several thousand. The universe is kind. |

thanks so much for keeping it real for us all with your minimal interior design.
for a moment there i was worried. was like shit aint real but now its ok |
my building used to have free stuff, like a bench outside and trashcan in the entrance
if the trashcans get stolen within a couple days of being there i wonder how long a coffee machine could last |
With all the free coffee everywhere it hardly qualifies as stealing (I don't think...). Most office/apartment/hotel establishments offer it through the majority of the states.
I drink coffee on a near-daily basis. Often several cups a day. I doubt I actually paid for more than 10 cups this entire year. The leasing office where I live keeps that shit stocked, as does my job. I'm in luck I guess. |

Well, for starters it's way better than energy drinks. For enders....I work odd hours and am often up for durations of time most couldn't endure. Coffee helps. |

drink water, man. you'll endure a couple of days of headaches and then you'll sleep like a baby and be awake all day (or whenever you need to be awake). it's the high/crash cycle that keeps you hooked. or do they mix up your hours? my bro in law used to be a journalist and he'd work at all kinds of weird freaking hours. so he was addicted to the evil bean. which is tasty, i admit. but now i ramble-- i'm listening to somebody else's phone convo and i can't focus. sorry mang. |
coffee is delicious.

my issues were mostly that 1. he was clearly trying to hide his mass consumption of the curtousy beverage for people that actually live there 2. he used all but one of the brew packets which meant no real consideration fr anyone else who may have wanted coffee. I'm not sour, I had my own.. it just bothers me when people choose greed over sharing, it was just the way I was brought up.. |

if i was a labourer with missing teeth i probably wouldn't be too worried whether or not the fancy apartment building needed to buy more coffee |
exactly so don't hide it!
it isn't so fancy though, but still.. |

They are mixed up.... I work two shifts (3-11pm, and 11-7am, all within the scheme of a week)...sometimes even working in a second part, part, part time job. This does mean that I sometimes must stay awake longer than I'd like in order to make time for playing my guitar/etc (not all the that important) and spending time with my girlfriend (very important). I mean, I'm not one of those that drinks coffee all day long. I tend to enjoy a cup (or up to three, very rarely four) upon waking up or whenever I haven't slept at all (which is somewhat seldom...even though I don't always sleep for as long as I should). And water for SURE! I don't drink as much as is recommended, but no doubt more than the average person. 2-3 bottles'glasses a day, and almost always when eating out (which is often). I like water, and it does work wonders. On average I drink less than 4 bottles/cans of Coke (or the like) in a week. I'll be better off once I quit being lazy and look for a job which consist of working the same shift all the time. I rant too...all is well. :) |
well i don't get free coffee anywhere except for shitty restaurants and business meetings. But when they do it's filter coffee anyway so I guess life is fair.
|
apparently now I am his daily joke test subjct. oh woe.
haha |
