anyway finally listened cuz of yalls hyping their shit. It's good. It's really good.

told ya that the recorded output can be enjoyable, despite the lame lives.
Water EP and Frost EP are my favs, the album isn't bad either, but some tracks are a bit weak (redlights on the album is worse than on the ep imo).

Tair is a fucking beast of a track. The remixes they do are fantastic too.

I just realized Salem does one of the best remixes on the Free Gucci mixtape. Been listening to it all year, had no idea they were on there.

i like me some salem. at first i thought it was going to be massively overhyped crap that i'd forget about in a week (like sleigh bells or some shit), but some of it is pretty interesting. i think their "yes i smoke crack" EP is their best. love "redlights" on that one.

all that other "witch house" stuff i've heard is pretty awful, though, aside from one balam acab EP i'm forgetting the name of right now.

this is pretty sick. i haven't heard of "witch house." not much good stuff, though? too bad.

although, fever ray is a lot like this.

See Birds? I haven't heard anything else by Balam Acab but I certainly dig on that EP.

Yes, I Smoke Crack is probably the most solid release IMO but the album has some standout fucking tracks.

So I'm still unsure of Salem. I love the music but the vocals are offputting (which is maybe why that live video is so bad to me).

oOoOO, on the other hand, makes brilliant music. I liked White Ring, or at least I liked the track on the oOoOO split 7'' so I'll be on the look out for them as well.

I like a lot of oOoOO stuff as well but Salem takes the cake for me.

King Knight, pighoggy, skullcrusher, Asia, and tair are all great tracks.
