all of the audio to this one is off for mastering at the present. if i had to guess today (ha!) i'd say the release would be something like may-june or so. the 4xLP collection is titled "not the spaces you know, but between them." the SY action in this one is top notch - 20 minutes of fun.

I wouldn't mind a new studio album..

I can always use more live SY shows in NYC.
I think their playing together on stage these days is some of the best they have ever played. 7.31.10 Brooklyn is a great example. They were fuckin' perfectly tight and loose all at the same time. Their mix was perfect. I need more live SY!

Hope they come back to Europe soon!

Anything released on Smalltown Superjazzz kicks ass. That's a Norwegian label that is home to Jaga Jazzist and many other insane musicians. Very happy to see those released on that label.
