edit: oh, I listened to breeders - title tk. Some songs on that have a similiar atmosphere to this stuff, so that's kinda odd.

her vinyl sells out faster than anyone else. so upset. i asked for the pre-order 3 weeks ago, waited a week to get a reply saying they were long gone

Yeah my ex (still good friends) was majorly bummed out that she couldn't get the vinyl. They really should start issuing the vinyl in larger quantities, she isn't some no name underground artist anymore.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd like to get a copy of this. I'll see if any shops have one this weekend.

Btw, I need to get a real copy of this to support the musician. I love that album so FUCKING MUCH. And I'd love Liz as well if she was nearby, for she's such an adorable person.

the label should just stop people from buying many multiples. because i am hearing this is what happens with all her releases. just so they can make a quick buck on ebay. its not Liz' fault, i don't think.

I'm not a big fan of much what she's done before, no. I liked what I've heard when I went to see her playing, even though she did next to nothing onstage. Quite like this record. Everybody's a winner.

Remember when they'd release literally like 15 copies and they'd all be sold out before they were even officially on sale?

The handmade Natural Snow Buildings releases that were in editions of 30 go for hundreds and hundreds. If I owned one of them I could go for a nice vacation.

The difference is that NSB are getting better at this problem, their newer releases are getting bigger runs (I think their newest one is still available, which surprised me, I was also able to get the latest TwinSisterMoon wax weeks after it was released). Which is funny cause NSB are smaller than Grouper.

I think this is her best release by far. It is sort of an accumulation of everything she had tried before and condensed it into one amazing double album. I honestly didn't think she'd top Dragging a Dead Deer but here we are.

Why do YOU not improve on that then?

One of my favorites of the year so far, most definitely.
