So I thought I'd finally announce on the blog that I'm now a contributor to GameSpite Quarterly. Perhaps you longtime readers may recall that one of my earliest blog posts was talking up the amazing first issue which was devoted entirely to the history of the Game Boy. Well, number eight is all about the PlayStation. And it's a gigantic book filled with plenty to keep you busy with.

Hmmm didn't a demo of FFVII come with this game? I remember renting it and te demo came along with. That was how I got into FFVII

when I wrote for a living, I made no money. Things are working out better for me now that I'm doing it "on the side" as they say.

doubtful, Battle Arena Toshinden was a launch title man. FFVII was a lot later.

I actually never tried either Tobal surprisingly.

yeah I don't remember playing it.....I fell in love with the demo. FFVII was my first rpg.

my first RPG was either FF or Dragon Warrior (which came with Nintendo Power for free!) I can't recall which I played first, but both right around the same time.
