Impossible in terms of London as a whole, but in terms of the part of London I'm from:

Billy Bragg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjUA3RU4B8E
Iron Maiden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU5rvBtjsLY&ob=av2e
Vera Lynn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHcunREYzNY

_slavo_ 08.30.2011 10:12 AM

There have been a few bands coming from my hometown called Kosice (located in the eastern part of my country).

Kolowrat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoJ8E...eature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsHPS...eature=related
(it might be my favourite band at the moment ... i'm friends with them and they're the nicest people ever)

Liter Gena
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4I-XpGz0fc
(the legendary controversial local band that was active during socialist regime here ... fucking awesome and destructive music. The band title means "1 liter of cum")

Jelly Belly

Theres only really Queen and So Solid Crew (now theres a contrast) who are from my neck of the woods. Hard-Fi are from Staines which was a regular haunt during my teenage years. I dont particularly like or loathe any of them

Im near Kingston which has a bit of a "scene", and i loathe all its participants.

Dead-Air 09.02.2011 01:00 AM

Heart, Jimi Hendrix, and Kenny G

Maybe I'll come up with some more later on.

Cosmobunny - They've evolved a wee bit since this video into sort of a weird concoction of James Chance + Echo and the Bunnymen. Fantastic, nah...but I really like them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBBSqG49dO0

Citizen Insane - Some of my best friends, so it's important that I give 'em a shout out. Sorta weirdo rock-raunch with occasional Bjorkian prettiness. I dunno:

+

Eh, there's three vids. Jade Poppyfield is also interesting...but no vids anywhere to speak of
