Hi everybody !
Wandering across the web, ending on eBAy, I stopped at something that lead me to that :
Sonic Youth will play live on Le Mouv', a French radio, wednesday 19/04/2006, 21:00 (Paris time - UTC+1).
It's gonna be broadcasted. Guess it's most likely for you to listen to it on the web too - whatever country you live in.
You can also attend the gig given in the studio by dialing a special number and typing SONIC. Don't know if that offer is still available, for I don't own no cell phone to find out. Nevermind.

Yeah, I heard the publicity on this radio (i'm french), I try to play but I loss ... I didn't have the broadcast date, so thank you very much... Somebody should record it, I'll try but my recorder... is an USB key...

Oui, en effet il y a qqs frenchies apparamment. Des places pour la session de SY au mouv' sont a gagnées sur l'antennes, il faut envoyer des sms d'après ce qu'on m'a dit, pour ma part j'ai deja mes places... Le 19 & 20 avril vont êter 2 jours exeptionnels pour nous, on en a de la chance...

I agree with you Fox, "le mouv'" is a shitty radio for hype people, I don't like it at all, but for SY I'm ready to go to the show they planned

Je serai vraiment très reconnaissant qu'on m'explique comment tenter de me consoler après ma désillusion du Casino : déja plus de place!! Sinon les annonces sont faites vers quelle heure? (désolé j'écoute très peu la radio française héhé...).
Si quelqu'un avait une place de trop...genre le concert du 19 et celui du 20 juste après enfin je dis ça je dis rien...

OK, I can record the concert. 2100 is 9 PM and so that will be 2 PM my time on Wed. the 19th. I have composition lessons at 3:30, so as long as it's not more than an hour and a half......I can record it in FLAC. Just remind me!

Also, I can record The Gilmore Girls pretty easily - I have a TV card in my computer and I record TV all the time. Also, just remind me!

I just tested the radio by recording a little of the crap they're playing right now and it worked fine.

Yeah that would be great if you could record that......or somebody.

God, they are playing some terrible music right now.




It's really fun listening to the French announcers though.

I will try to record it too on the FM, Katerine is funny, but Le Mouv' announcers are so bad :)
