They broke into our house.

They stole 120€ and our car and I'm pissed off.

finding nobody 09.17.2006 12:59 PM

Fuck that man. Much sympathy to you

Tokolosh 09.17.2006 01:17 PM

Where do you live again? In Belgium or Holland?
That sucks!

Trasher02 09.17.2006 01:19 PM

Belgium.
The worst part is that they broke in through the window of my little brother's room and we didn't hear it *sigh*

Hip Priest 09.17.2006 01:21 PM

It's a horrible thing to happen. Burglars are amongst the most pestilential and hideous beasts that humanity has to offer.

Take care, and I hope they get caught and f***ed.

Tokolosh 09.17.2006 01:23 PM

That sounds like a junkie to me?

Hip Priest 09.17.2006 01:24 PM

Most of them are nowadays, aren't they? Most thieves in general, in fact.

Daycare Nation 09.17.2006 01:50 PM

Sorry that happened. But at least you can still listen to Rather Ripped!

static-harmony 09.17.2006 01:53 PM

that last comment was uneccesary Daycare, I'm sorry to hear that Thrasher02

Trasher02 09.17.2006 01:55 PM

My rather ripped CD was in the car lol.
Ah well no big loss.

Daycare Nation 09.17.2006 02:11 PM

:-(

now I'm really sorry!

nicfit 09.17.2006 02:16 PM

maybe if they listen to Do You Believe in Rapture? they'll get second thoughts and decide to bring it back?

jon boy 09.17.2006 02:38 PM

it happened to my sister a few weeks ago. the kids down the street broke in, stole her stuff, the kids stuff and her car.

ploesj 09.17.2006 03:01 PM

oh god im so sorry for you.. that must be a scary experience

we once forgot to close our front door.. those were some scared moments because we have a few expensive instruments in our house (think two drumkits, a xylophone, two violins and a viola)

that once happened at my parents' house too, a friend who visited hadn't closed the door properly (it jammed) and of course the following morning it turned out that there had been some things stolen. most of it (contents of a briefcase and my mother's handbag) wasn't of much value so they dumped it two streets further and the most valuable thing they got was probably my passport (that i just newly got from the city hall that same day!)

it could be coincidence, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are some people walking around every night checking for open doors.

i bet you don't even know any junkies, which is why you have no right to make this assumption.

DemonBox 09.17.2006 03:17 PM

I'm sorry for you man. Hope they get those who did it.

Do you feel offended, by what I said?
Please shut your gob, Cant. You don't know shit about me. I live and breath amongst junkies. Some of them are good friends of mine. They come around when they need money for a fix or a warm meal. I know what they're after, and how they go about getting it.
Real criminals don't do petty crimes, like stealing 120 euros and a car that will be traced back easly.
They are more inclined to wait till you go on holiday, and then they clean out your whole house.
Besides, I never said that it was a junkie for sure.

Danny Himself 09.18.2006 04:15 AM

You should start a new life as the Punisher or something. Totally go medieval on the junkies of Belge.

Junkies should be helped and not punished.
I've seen some of my best mates go down the drain on crack, amphetamines, etc, and it's a sad sight. They're still my friends, and come to my house often, because they know, that I'll listen and help them out whenever I can. I treat them with the respect they deserve as human beings, and they have never stolen from me.

jon boy 09.18.2006 04:51 AM

trying to deal with junkies is very hard. i have known a few over the years and each one was difficult to be with for one reason or another. i wish i could have helped them more but ultimately i guess they have to help themselves.

our downtown is having problems right now with muggings and such...it was dead, so i left early.

most junkies would rather violate or harm themselves rather than others. they are, after all, junkies. but some are desperate enough to commit crimes. they are, after all, junkies. (dry humor)
this is quite the pulpy cover for Bill's maiden voyage.

one cannot expect life to conform to one's expectations, nevertheless, getting robbed or otherwise ripped-off does blow.

fishmonkey 03.31.2007 06:50 AM
