Snow Patrol?

I don't feel like wasting my time to see for myself, so Instead I'll waste my time asking y'all what they're like. They were playing at a club here yesterday and I saw a pretty big crowd outside and then I wondered what they're like.

CHOUT 09.18.2006 11:24 PM

ok, u2 and coldplay like shit? figures.

HaydenAsche 09.18.2006 11:33 PM

No No No Patrol

GeneticKiss 09.19.2006 01:07 AM

Heard a few Snow Patrol songs, not impressed.

U2 used to be good and Coldplay are alright IMO, just wanted to throw that out there.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 01:08 AM

they're pussy rock for pussies.

porkmarras 09.19.2006 01:09 AM

They're rubbish.

wax 09.19.2006 03:58 AM

i literaly vomit when i hear that famous song of theirs.
i heard selfish cunt went on tour with them and sabotaged all their equipment.
good on em

porkmarras 09.19.2006 04:02 AM

I'm glad that selfish twats have been somehow banned from playing The Rhythm Factory(or so it seems). One of these days someone's gonna hurt them if they are not careful.

fishmonkey 09.19.2006 04:03 AM

they are a pile of vile bollox. they played in my home town years ago when they were nothing, in a fuckin GAA club! <-(anyone from ireland will understand the magnitude of this) some people have preconcived notions about their earlier albums but i can confirm with great big pile of doggy doo doo they are all shite.

i call em "snooze patrol"

porkmarras 09.19.2006 04:05 AM

Yeah i knew them before they got famous and they were baby poo even then.

fishmonkey 09.19.2006 04:09 AM

i knew them when they were babies and their placenta's were made of poo.

fishmonkey 09.19.2006 04:12 AM

in fact...

i knew their Daddies and they worked down the poo mines.

porkmarras 09.19.2006 04:17 AM

Oh well......

sonic sphere 09.19.2006 04:18 AM

they are no good at all

Hip Priest 09.19.2006 06:20 AM

Whiny janglewank-guitar fucks.

hey alex 09.19.2006 10:38 AM

They're good.

Ok, im lying. They sound like coldplay... one of U2 and one of Coldplay is enough.

_slavo_ 09.19.2006 10:40 AM

oh shit,
I traveled 45 minutes in the car with my boss today and had to listen to fucking Snow Patrol for the whole time there. He knew I was into "indie" so he was like: "isn't this music wonderful?". I started coughing.

There must be a God playing puppet game with us all.

racehorse 09.19.2006 11:04 AM

oh god, they headlined the main musical event of the year over here (i live in a little island off the coast of france called Jersey) and it's so backward it's unbelievable, i only went for iForward Russia!. snow patrol almost sent me to sleep, it's the worst type of music around IMO. coldplay wannabes.

strictlycommercial 09.19.2006 03:47 PM

They moved from lacklustre pavement wannabes to a souless coldplay rip-off, though if I remember correctly their 2nd album had a few OK songs on it.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

PAULYBEE2656 09.19.2006 04:16 PM

snowpatrol are ok. in ok i mean fine on the radio, ill tap my foot but wont go out and buy their shit. some good indie pop hits but nothing special. im in ireland and they are revered here like godz. we even call em irish even tho they are from northern ireland but we wont go into that big political can of worms right now!

they are like a coldplay that wont make you puke

Toilet & Bowels 09.19.2006 04:50 PM

i bought their first album on the basis that it was urusei yatsura type glasgow indie, it was ok, a couple of good tunes, i haven't listened to it in probably 6 or 7 years though

porkmarras 09.19.2006 04:56 PM

Did you use to buy Yummy Fur 7''s at that time?I used to buy only scottish indie and that time.Little did i know that two of them would end up in Franz Ferdinand at one point and certainly i didn't think that Snow Patrol would re-surface as successful people.

Danny Himself 09.19.2006 05:00 PM

I almost got to see them this summer at the Seattle Endfest but they pulled out the day before because they got stuck in Britain.

Norma J 09.19.2006 05:17 PM

They suck... Hang on, no they don't. For a second there I was just conforming like everybody else on this board seems to do. I only own one of their albums, Final straw, and it's good. I don't know what their new stuff is like. But the album I own is not comparable to Coldplay or U2. I can't fucking stand Coldplay.

PAULYBEE2656 09.19.2006 05:19 PM

neither can i coldplay suck balls by the pound/euro!

Well, sometimes you can't help but conform because Snow Patrol really are that shit.

k-krack 09.19.2006 08:37 PM

They really bore me. Plus, the new single is absolutely horrendous.

CHOUT 09.19.2006 10:25 PM

Well, I got my answer: Snow Patrol sux. Thanks.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 10:27 PM

Pax Americana 09.20.2006 12:09 AM
