No, you didn't. Don't try to pull that bullshit. A friend of mine needed a soul to get married. He's giving it back after the big day.

Cantankerous 09.27.2006 11:06 PM

static-harmony 09.27.2006 11:49 PM

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 09.28.2006 12:24 AM

So I'm right? Because I'm pretty sure playing stoner, doom, or sludge is selling your soul.

Style 09.28.2006 04:55 AM

I thought you were supposed to suck off tom cruise in a spaceship?

Long before Robert Johnson ever went down to the crossroads, violinist & composer Niccolo Paganini was rumored to have sold his soul to the devil in exchange for musical ability.

Evidence against this theory: Paganini's 5th Caprice actually prevented the devil from stealing The Karate Kid's soul (the devil settled for stealing Ralph Macchio's career instead).

Evidence in favor of this theory: When played on acoustic guitar, the virtuosity in his 24th Caprice really seems supernaturally inspired. Just take a look at this youtube video of this young girl playing it on a classical guitar or listen to this version of Carmina Burana arranged for solo banjo.

Is that solo banjo Carmina Burana the Sandy Bull one?
I love that record. Had it for many years.

It's gotta be. How many solo banjo Carmina Buranas can there be?

atari 2600 09.28.2006 01:20 PM

that's the ticket

static-harmony 09.28.2006 05:26 PM

She just practice a lot when she was little either on her own, or got beaten up to practice it. There is no hint of her selling her soul to the devil.

Danny Himself 09.28.2006 05:28 PM

Fuck you, Satan.

static-harmony 09.28.2006 05:30 PM

Hey Satan is cool, just a little overated.
