There was a thread, but don't worry, greenlight! And hi to both of you! Does wfmu broadcast through the radio? If so, that would be a chance of a better recording, seeing that this stream is lossy, right? I'm enjoying it, though. I read that the .mp3s will be archived, so if anybody misses this, there's no need to worry.

Nice party. "Outside My Window, The City Is Never Silent" is playing now. This is a great program. I'm happy that Lee's record is now out, too. That also could mean we'll soon get to see nyctaper's recording of the show at Glasslands last year...

I'm listening to the stream again, and I'm looking very much forward to the LP and the live awesomeness in Mexico City. :)

Lee hints at possible future releases (some more definite/sooner than others): extensive Morrocan writing/recordings, SY live 1985 Chicago Smart Bar, Sister deluxe w/ demos ("huge trove" of "jams")!, 1986 EVOL tour film (w/ Dinosaur Jr/Saccharine Trust)!, and also mentioned acoustic Lee band, new Lee demos, etc...

checking out the Michael Rother/Hallogallo archived show too.

btw, i will be recording Lee's set @ Primavera festival in Barcelona this year!

cheers for mp3! did you know if you listen with their flash player (and record it that way) you have better sound quality and less bandwidth, coz it stream 40 K AAC+ Stereo, or if you play flash via Winmap or VLC player its AAC+ (48 K Stereo). I'm making recording of it in this lossy and encoding scheme via audacity if anyone will be interested. still dont know what format will sounds better. will compare, when i finish. aac+ should have better sound quality over the same bitrates as mp3. but will see....
