Feeling '90stalgic

I miss the 90s. I wish to talk nostalgically about said decade. If anyone cares to join me, please feel free.

Wasn't Singles a great movie?
Pearl Jam.
Alternative Nation.
Seattle.
Five million bands that sounded like either Jane's Addiction or the Replacents, but were vastly more popular and less interesting.

Etc.

Actually I like Pearl Jam as well. They were great in the 90s, though nostalgic or not Ten is a terrible album, with only two listenable tracks. But from Vs through Yield they were in top form.

I also like Singles, so anyone who doesn't can feel free to feel that way, but if you're going to be a dick to me just because I like it, then I pity you and hope you find some more engaging ways to spend your time than being a professional internet prick

Genteel death- "Porky"- I think you need an enema.

floatingslowly 03.27.2012 09:07 AM

ILLMATIC came out in the 90's so musically-wise that decade is forgiven.

It had its great stuff and it had its shit

Murmer99 03.27.2012 12:18 PM

i am not sure WTF you're talking about, but i haven't bought mass effect just yet. dragon age was hilarious though (origins, not the 2nd).

Genteel Death 03.27.2012 03:31 PM

At the height of grunge my fashion role model was Ice-T in Body Count. Those were the days.

speaking of "those were the days," i used to have a redhead girlfriend who was a total drunk. what a pain. she smelled really nice when she was sober though.

Bioware games have always featured the ability to engage in homosexual relationships with npcs.

There are alternate endings for anyone brave enough to "play hetero", but so far nobody's seen them.

Waifu-o-rama, baby.

sure. and this is what you find most remarkable about them because...?

floatingslowly 03.27.2012 03:54 PM

Don't ask me. I don't play that crap.

I told you, my gay's been forced into the closet by strict jedi guidelines.

floatingslowly 03.27.2012 03:55 PM

You don't get around the internets much, do you?

i'm a bit of a recluse.

floatingslowly 03.27.2012 04:07 PM

I guess, since you need a walkthrough, I'll further explain myself (limited time offer).

If you are going to hold up Mass Effect 3 next to something as iconic as Sonic the Hedgehog, the only logical conclusion as to "why" would be your secret lust for man_to_man contact and the satisfaction that a relationship simulator supplies.

Hey, hey, it's ok.

the ikara cult 03.27.2012 04:21 PM

I was hibernating from the period 1969-2001, and ive never wondered what i missed

Nefeli 03.27.2012 04:42 PM

my friend Tom once said smth really brilliant and kind of sad if you want, about nostalgia, that i cant right quote. smth that it sucks big balls and i believe he wanted to say what a filthy tricky mind game it is.

about 90s trying to figure out what i miss. towards to nada actually.
surely i have tunes that i loved and still like.
ah yeah and that we started to wear whatever we fancied.

uber lol and
remind me to kiss you. next time.

the ikara cult 03.27.2012 04:49 PM

I remember before people were so nostalgic, everything was better back then

Nefeli 03.27.2012 04:50 PM

when we were 6?

the ikara cult 03.27.2012 04:55 PM

When i was 6 i was longing for 4.

That was my emo phase, im actually glad i got it out of the way then.

Nefeli 03.27.2012 05:00 PM

^high 5 (?) to that.

when i was 6 i had my 1st (or not) crush.
you can understand, i cannot get easily nostalgic.
