I chose other because Nic Fit is horrible.

Most of the songs on Rather Ripped are terrible.
Same goes for Nurse.
Plastic Sun is a borefest.
Panty Lies is terrible.

The worst, by far, is still Junkie's Promise.

i am suprised she isn't already shitting on Small Flowers Crack Concrete, which she has rewritten many times, and most of the lyrics are better then what thurston did

for me, Tokyo Eye is the worst, all of Jet Set's problem's are due to the lack of great Thurston songs (Starfield Road, Waist, and In The Mind of the Bourgeois Reader aside), he really took his best and put them on Psychic Hearts

junkie's promise is just blah; self-obsessed and sexxee and androgynous
mind, i really appreciate thurston's sentiments, but they're couched in such
dull tracks. starfield road kinda singlehandedly saves thurston on jet set.

some of sy best songs have bbeen recorded in this decade some were recorded in the early years so there is a lot to argue about!

the two worst SY songs are

Sorry, but I find the chorus to be abominable. I normally do like Kim's voice (although she's my least fav. SY vocalist), but she really sounds like shit on this chorus. And the lyrics are dreadful too.

ha! ok we beg to differ i reckon!!! i think its a classic song. totally groovy totally rockin and yeah kims vocals arent great but she aint the greatest singer ever with all due respects. i think its a fun tune but there is the proof in my arguement from my last post!!!

Out of that list, My Friend Goo is the worst, and may be the worst SY track in general. There really aren't too many I hate though... others are:

Starfield Road (I know everyone will give me shit for this)
The Neutral
Secret Girls (sometimes I enjoy it)
The Ineffable Me (see above thing about Secret Girls)
Total Trash (should be a bit shorter, I like it when they extend songs, but seems useless here)

Plastic Sun and Panty Lies do NOT suck!

Latley, since the genius isn't flowing as wildly as it did before, there's less reason to have that seemingly obligitory shitty song. My own opinion here, but Sonic Nurse was too mediocre to be able to include something as shitty as Panty Lies, if that makes any sense.

Junkie's promise, by the way, is one of those remarkable songs that can rock so fucking hard at a moderatly slow pace. Heavy, heavy stuff, man.

I've never got sick of Kool Thing, and, after 15 years, doesn't seem like I will.
