Well for me cos I'm so cool i've got a walkman on me phone. So the songs on there I can set them as my ringtone...

i use recorded stuff, deerhoof's "sound the alarm", which is that track that opens "reveille"

I use this one on classes, cause it's undetectable by most teachers due to bad hearing.

I did, but we've got it back now.

I'm a silent in the pocket type, although if it's in another room the ringtone is Avril Lavigne's sk8ter boi, which, if I'm not mistaken, makes me three-hundred times as cool as you lot.

I used to have a ringtone on the old phone that screamed 'pick up the phone you idiot!' but i still failed to hear it on most occasions.

No special ringtone for me other than the tone of 'ring ring'. I don't know if this groups me with the majority or the minority. Regardless, my stance on ringtones is that of: If going to be a song, make it an actual mp3 clip of the song, if its going to be the good ol' midi format than just pick one out of your menu.

i converted the castaways' liar liar from midi to wave (or something like that). It sounds quite funny. Before that I had Bullwinkle pt. 2 from pulp fiction that way.
