if you are one of those people who get homesick and needs the comfort of compatriots (i'm not), massachussets has a sizable portuguese community. even radio stations where you can listen to fado and what not. |
Well, do you have any ideas......?
I already gave mine. Lone Tree, Iowa. A TREEmendous place to live.
how about?, virginia?, its for lovers you know.
Austin, Tx was voted the best city to live in this year
(and the year before that)
nice signature.

If you can swing it, you should see if you can move into this place. See if there's a little crawl space beneath the bins or something. It's where I'd move if I were moving to the U.S.A. |
HAHAHAHAHA god dammit that sig gets me everytime. Funniest GIF ever. (crypto)
what about sea and sun? anywhere?
No. Not in this country. No sun, no sea. That sea to shining sea bit is a sham.
The sun is an accursed yellow orb that hurts me. I am loving the long nights now.

only in california but if you can put with the north atlantic, i told you before, massachussets. cape cod is actually pretty fucking nice. btw where i live these days there is a lot of fucking bright sun, but no sea for thousands of miles. boring. |
California, is the place to move, if you want sea and sun, Either L.A. San Diego, San Francisci, It was really nice in Santa Barbara when I went, I am forgetting other places, but some of these are very nice.
Santa Barbara is cool, but its fucking expensive, but it is very nice and more relaxed than LA. I love California, I think its a great place to live. I would look for some place in the Bay Area, if you can find some place thats not so expensive, unless you're rich and dont need to worry about that.
I want to move to the bay area as well, but I will propbably be doing that when I transfer to a university out there.
i just wanna go back to dc. that's all i ask.
Why? where are you now? Texas?
new mexico-- politically better than texas, but the live music situation is much worse

I see, I hate those southwest states, not to my liking politically that is, when all this immigration thing blows over I'll go.
there's just a lot of dust and dirt. and now they want to start mining uranium again. i'll take the radiation as long as i can see good bands live. unfortunately, not a chance.
austin is the live music capital of the u.s.
Yeah I've heard Texas is the best place right now for good music.
!@#$%! loves a giant belligerent rat population and a super fucked-up wagon-wheel street plan.
There is no place like Nebraska.
Just so you know, I hate living in Austin. Don't be fooled. The music scene is awful, the people are awful, the weather is awful(ly hot), and traffic is the awfulest.
I'm counting the days till I move. Just 227 left! |
fuck the states move to canada.

sweet, sweet rats. see, i was posting on what to do in d.c. for hat&beard and i was suddenly overcome with a terrible feeling of loss. i fucking love that town. love it. even with the current invasion of yuppies, which in my opinion is worse than the rats. |

i'm just moving temporarily... most people i know dont have much in common with portuguese emmigrants. they have a very nationalistic spirit and i kinda respect that but i dont like them. do you like them? do they listen to pimba and fado all day long, pray to the virgin mary, fart out loud, have constantly a smell to cabbage around them and things like that? Quote:
ha ha. where do you live? Quote:
![]() so "tacky"? - - Im 17 and finishing high school, next year i'm planning to move on to the us with a couple of friends and have some fun there, and then back to Portugal and pursue College or whatever. |
Quote:
oh ha ha-- i have actually never met them-- i just know of them--- you know, general knowledge. i heard the radio in portuguese once when i was traveling through cape cod-- am radio-- apparently there is a lot of fishing around that area & what not. which would explain the loud farts. if you are looking to have fun before college just go to fucking new york-- brooklyn to be specific. it's kind of like the epicenter of world hipsterism at the moment-- ha ha ha-- fuck yes, just go to brooklyn, and fuck the rest of the country. as i said in another post, i live in new mexico. it's been good for business, but life here really sucks. |
Come to Nebraska, home of Car Henge!
![]() (This really does not seem like a popular choice, eh? I wonder why....} |
yes we were thinking about new york.
shit dad, i need money. i'm so fucking going. |
Twatville is nice.
Oh, you know, Twat City is actually really nice this time of year too. Just my thought! toodle-loo |
