i got arrestred tonight
 

and it was not tha tbad!!!
the village cops let me chill in the lobby for 30 minutes
(unlike the black fellow who was sent immediately to his cell)
they gave me a sunny delight and a hot biscuit with a sausage
they were pretty nice cops
the cell was spotless, they gave me a new blanket (which i could throw away or keep after i was bailed out)
must say, it wasnt bad at all

Happens to almost every stoner I know. The more ya get stoned, the more careless ya get. My daughter and her friends had been getting stoned for months before they were caught by police. They were getting not only lax about where they smoked but also were feeling, hey, we've been lucky so far, nothing's going to happen to us. So, the night they were arrested, they were hot boxing in her car--midnight, middle of a supermarket parking lot, big overhead light spotlighting the car, only car in the lot. Um, duh...?

Kids are a lot less discreet than in my day. When I smoked, the locales were the basement, a closed room, maybe, maybe behind the house late at night, usually just with a friend or two, furtively, secretly, and you never, never smoked in your car or on the street. You were, you know, careful not to get caught, which meant you didn't smoke illegal stuff outside where there are cops and nosy neighbors.

Free sausage? For breaking the law? Damn, I'll have to do that more often

if im not smoking in my pool house or upstairs (my parents never come upstairs), im smoking at a friends house because most of the parents dont care about weed. its funny, they're all conservative republicans but they know wasap when it comes to weed. shit, a couple of them smoke themselves! like one of my friends dad is really into art, and he smoked pot with us to celebrate the new jackson pollock piece he had acquired.


i was arrested (along with 3 other friends) for public intoxication
my friend had a pool party last night
a couple of friends and i were walking home from his place (about 2 blocks away)
we were SHITFACED and it was a close walk so we were like why risk getting pulled over and getting arrested for drinking and driving?
so, we walked
3-5 minutes later a cop turns his lights on
we stop
and then another cop drives by and sees the light so he comes
and then another
so theres 3 cops
4 of us
they know we're drunk, they do the tests
and then they arrest us
i was okay with it though
i knew we'd get bailed out quick
and i had heard that the memorial village was nice and clean
so, we get to the place
we're in a waiting room
they let us chill in there for 30 minutes (which was cool cause we got to bullshit)
i call my dad
he bailed us all out

Thank God I live in the UK. You can drink legally at 18 and they only arrest you if your are causing a disturbance. I've walked home drunk off my face, with a load of my friends, when I was under 18, plenty of times. If its really late the police will ask you if your okay and then you tell them politely that your fine and are walking home and they say "good night" and leave you alone. If your not hurting anyone whats the problem? I really don't get the US. I love the people but if I lived there I would be scarred shitless to do anything.

I only tried drinking and driving once, and I was swerving a lot, so I decided not to do it again. I was scared.

Yesterday I actually backed into another car and cracked the plastic on their headlight. I feel really bad because I just ended up leaving. I mean, the damage was barely anything, and it was a party at my friend's place and it was so difficult to back out

there is but its younger. at least in germany it is. but they dont have the same mentality as americans or the british about getting drunk. plus there are cigarrette machines in the street so you dont have to worry about being id'd in the shop.
