have recently learned alot from the evolution of plants
here is the amborella
this plant with flowers was the first on our planet
all other plants with flowers have this plant in their genetic record

at the same time in evolution the insects were very importand for these plants for the pollination

the plants made the flowers attractive to insects
here is an ultra-violet photo of how insects see the flowers

we as humans can't see these ultra-violet colors

in evolution of plants and trees with fruits
the human eyes develloped from blue and green cones / color reseptors in our eyes to blue-green-yellow
the reason why we CAN see colors
there are about 150.000 receptors on 1 mm² in our eyes

and so you see ....
how evolution is weaved all around us
in plants, in insects, in humans
