Although I have smoked magic mushrooms before but I think they're better boiled up and drunk.

From my personal experience I find (especially if doing large amounts of mushrooms like 100+) that boiling them for 10-15 minutes or so, then giving them a good squeeze and only drinking the liquid, not only do you come up a lot quicker but you don't get such bad gut ache. It's my preffered method of doing them...

I wouldn't rule out smoking acid either.

and another thing, the fields where I pick my mushies are covered in dog shit and there's some nasty parasites which can cause blindness living on them so I think it's best to boil them.

i got a corncob pipe today. it's so folksy and classically american, it makes me feel like a moonshiner in the film shepherd of the hills starring screen legend john wayne

tobacco pipes make me kinda pukey though, so i wanted to smoke weed out of it but it's just too big, it would cost ~ $15 to fill it

so i've emptied out a northfield cigarette, 100% additive free canadian tobacco, like american spirits but not american or all that good, i've liberally added kif, and since the consistency wasn't coarse enough for pipe smoking i've added quite a few weed stems

pipe tobacco you don't inhale though. it's very high in nicotine which is why it makes you pukey if you do. you know this, right? you absorb through the gums.

i'd stick to a pyrex bowl for weed and save the corncob for some virginia flake or some latakia. they cost a bit but last a long time.

I have not smoked cigs for over a decade, and I still get massive nostalgia waves when I even hear of someone mentioning smoking a cig, especially after a nice meal or a good fuck.

I still enjoy a cigar, but my wife is asthmatic, so I cannot smoke indoors, Houston does not allow smoking in bars/restaurants, and after May it is too fucking hot to sit outside smoking a cigar for an hour.

I end up smoking one or two cigars a month.

You still have to inhale a little bit of the smoke otherwise its too harsh. In fact, if you're not inhaling you're not getting to enjoy to subtle nuances of the flavor because if it being so harsh up front, the flavor comes out of the exhale..


I always thought tobacco was to harsh for glass or pyrex, its really a paper or clay/wood kind of smoke..

this shit is fucking nuts. a dab....the size of a sprinkle....and stuff gets you goin' for real....

i mean it in the clinton "i did not inhale" sense-- don't draw pipe smoke into your lungs (or throat for that matter).

tobacco pipes you puff, but you keep the smoke inside the mouth. just like a cigar. yes, some old hardcore smokers will cheat a little but it's a kind of defect in form that invites all kinds of unpleasantness. also, if the pipe gets wet and you accidentally drip/suck the liquid in your mouth-- nasty. sipping air from a cold pipe is nice though, before relighting.

briar makes the best pipes for my taste, but meerschaum gives you a nice cool burn-- i just don't like the feel of it in the hand. clay is really old school and will work only for little pipes--those also break really easy, so they're not practical--bowl also gets hot. pipe tobacco you really can't smoke on paper-- it's too moist/thick cut (cuts vary, but generally) and it doesn't draw well. corncobs give you a nice sweet smoke but you have to take off the filters when they come with it and they really don't last-- they burn out, the bits are cheap and break, etc-- but they're fun and disposable, good for camping.

briar is really where it's at for me-- when the chamber gets properly burned and develops a nice carbon cake, and it burns cool and sweet and just right, and the bowl is carved with a good rough texture, it's a delicious thing.

I don't fox with that wax, too strong, and and what is more, from my experience around it, wax is supposed to be rare for a reason, suddenly its more prevalent than good green? I'm very skeptical here.

I love these, on reds they're quite nice, as if the overwhelmingly steep pricing means that you don't get raped by pictures of gangrenous feet. for example I've currently got the psycho grandma one. recent others include the toilet filled with blood and piss, as well as the baby in the oxygen mask. oh shit just realised psycho grandma is actually a stroke victim, according to the packets she can't speak but still somehow manages to offer a quote attempting to dissuade others from smoking....

this country's approach to smoking simply bewilders me. I mean we're on the verge of banning it in the melbourne cbd, at uni it is now only permitted in those little glass boxes and pricing is going up what, 12.5% every two months or something if I remember correctly. and what people don't seem to understand is that if it's smoking now, then alcohol is next, and if australians went without so much as a single fucking beer for like one whole day I'm pretty sure the entire country would implode. socially speaking it's pretty much inarguable (disclaimer: no proof) that alcohol within the context of a group is exponentially more destructive than smoking, and yet it is on those grounds that we primarily make a case for the banning of smoking. then there's the dementia, the organ failure, the utter fucking idiocy of people when intoxicated, and indeed the very fact that alcohol itself IS A CARCINOGEN.

I don't even know anymore. I'm just going to be laughing though when all the pubs get turned into teahouses. then watch shit hit the fan, baby.
