so it's monday again:mad: how was your weekend? any cool parties? any gigs? or just having a rest? tell me

Mine was good, thank you. I slept late both mornings, went Christmas shopping on Saturday afternoon and out for a meal in the evening, and went into London on Sunday afternoon and had a walk by the Thames.

How was yours?

mine pretty ok.. concerts of my popular group, great afterparty and beautiful sunday trip to the forest. already xmas shopping? conscientious man:)

Top quality. Had a blinding game of snooker on Friday, a decent piss-up on Saturday, a nice quiet cheese and brandy night last night, and I passed my driving test this morning. Woo.

Congrats on the drivers test Glice. This weekend I ended up going to an Avey Tare (of Animal Collective) show. It was very interesting to see how he can produce such a diverse, complex sound with only 3 petals. The vocal manipulation was the best part, it was really well done. The other bands were a bore though, and I ended up leaving right after he played

I went to 2 gigs on Saterday, and got smashed on whiskey.
Had dinner with some friends on Sunday.

Friday - Christmas company party, I ended up sleeping on the pavement at 6 am next morning....pretty wild

Saturday - got out of bed at 7 pm, put some music on, threw up, took a shower and went into bed again.

Sunday - at my girlfriend's place. At least one decent day.

friday night- sister gets beaten by her boyfriend, family stress

saturday- drive for 6 hours to another city
saturdaynight- go out to club and get drunk with best friend and dance lots till 8 in the morning

Sunday- go sort out more of sisters problems whilst driving in a car for 2 hours doing nothing

thursday - went to the Wretched Worst/Eloe Omoe/Hair Police show...First two bands were great, unfortunately had to leave before Hair Police went on.

friday - stayed at home and watched 'The Libertine'

saturday - went to eat at my parents house, played some music with my brother, went to the book store.

sunday - took it easy, went to some friends house for dinner/drinks

My weekend was brilliant - found someone to listen to my stories of my life in Europe who actually responded with the wonder I had always hoped for, and not the prevailing cynicism of our age. Have rediscovered joy in my whimsical nostalgia.

Mine was shit. The fantastic thing about being an alcoholic is now I never get hangovers. I just drink more.

I worked overnight Friday to Saturday. While at work, I got jumped by a black dude that was built like a brick shithouse and luckiky I didn't get hurt.
I slept, and spent the remainder of the weekend with my goregous lady.
I also managed to work some jamming in.
Booyeah!

i went clubbing and watched hot lesbians make out.

thursday- club with friends, mostly drum n bass, had fun, pushed schoolies in trollies

friday- rested i think
saturday- great warehouse gig/rave, met a girl, made out with girl, got girl's phone number...first really cool australian chick...left rave at 5:30, took pictures of sunrise over the lighthouse with housemate, got to bed at 7:30...

sunday- got sick.

Super-productive weekend. Well, actually only yesterday was super-productive, but it was so productive that it makes up for Saturday.
Major studio reorganization and long-overdue cleaning followed by a good practice working on new material that actually feels like somewhat new territory stylistically for me. Felt like a breakthrough of sorts.

I was supposed to have a super-productive weekend but in the end I didn't do shit.
On saturday I saw The Micragirls, who pretty much are finland's rendition of Shonen Knife, and they were fucking ace.

we had a great little gig at a friend's b-day party. a bit chaotic but great!

On Friday I chilled with my lady after going to Hofbrau steakhouse and enjoying a tremendous 12 oz sirloin, and smoked and watched movies, instead of going to the porno convention wth crypto! damn!
On saturday I went to see PARTS & LABOR play at the proletariat which was fucking awesome and great and wonderful and fantastic and I talked to the band and bought their new EP on vinyl. then me and two friends went to a bar, then when the bar closed, we went and ate calzones and I crashed around 4:00am
on sunday i woke up and went to my friend's daughters 3 year old birthday party and it was fun and cool seeing all my friends with all their babies. that was fun. there was pizza and an ice cream cake!
then I went and watched some football and then I hung with my man J. and got hizigh and he slipped me a little bit of the afghani hashashisha yeah you know what I am talking about yeah....

I nearly froze to death.

Saturday was a nice day up in the village. Church fair in the morning, with nice cake &c, then the CHristmas lights switch-on in the afternoon (which means lots of visitors to our centre, lots of customers in the shop and some fresh mulled wine). Ordered pizza in the evening.

Yesterday we put the CHristmas decorations up.

Apart from that we watched a few episodes of an old BBC comedy series called All Gas and Gaiters. It's rather funny, but only eleven episodes survive. We'll watch some more tonight.

I'm looking forward to the coming weekend as it's the start of nine days off work for the two of us.

Ah, what kind of pizza? I think I'm having pizza for lunch!

My wife had the meat feast 'magic roll' (like a sealed pizza), whereas I had the same, but the hot and spicy vegetarian variety. It tastes of cheese and chilli, and is very lovely. Breaded mushrooms on the side, with a sour cream and chive dip.

What pizza are you having for lunch then?

I had some vegan pizza from the local greek/italian place. Pita bread, soy cheese, pizza sauce, and grilled veggies(onions, tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms) thrown on top. Fucking fantastic. Best lunch I've eaten in a while.

I'm not sure yet. But those sound good. Minus the breaded mushrooms!

OH, and mine is low fat. Get that. I can't risk gaining any weight.

I feel like I haven't eaten in days, the cold always does this to me.

thursday - i dont remember? but it was a fun night

friday - porno convention with some friends, then ended up @ the ritz (stripclub) cause some pornstars invited us. fun night.

saturday - took my little nephew and niece holiday shopping, got myself some cool shit from neimans. enjoyed the christmas decorations @ the galleria, got pictures with santa clause (with my niece and nephew). very cute kids, love them to death. took them for lunch @ texadelphia, then we rocked out to some rockin tunes in the car on the way home. Dropped them off at home, drove to the liquor store. Partied a bit at my house, went to some bars with some friends, one of them was in a car accident (total bummer). he's okay, but his car is totaly effed.

sunday - sat around the house and watched movies, went to Houstons (best ribs in town) with my parents. then went to the Plastilina Mosh concert.
