I just started college at the University of Connecticut (Does anyone go there?!).... I was just wondering what colleges some people here go to and how they like it.. I like UCONN, parties are swell.

College of hard knocks, baby...

I just go to a regular community college after that who knows, when I get my A.A. in photgraphy I may go to New York, or to some other photography school here in California. But hopefully New York and I will see if I can get into some other art school over there, or NYU.

Sutton College Design Center. Where i am doing a Diploma in photography.

I am going to brooks or After I finish Santa Monica college with an A.A. Some school in New York.

Bachelors in English and journalism here. And now I'm living on top of the world! Life is good in... Iowa... .

Cool. My recommendation: double major in another area that interests you, whether that's art, economics, science, or whatever. It helps to have an area of "expertise" so you can write in that area as a kind of specialty. Also, if possible, after your undergrad work, get an MA or other advanced degree (in journalism or in a field you'd like to write about).

Yeah, I always wanted to be a journalist or a photojournalist. This has been my goals since high School.

I'm a pysch major sociology minor at Indiana University South Bend.
I definately suggest the double Major, because i realized that I'd rather major in sociology than psych about a month ago and its too late if I want to gradate in may

I don't know where I plan on going, or what I plan on majoring in. But currently the colleges that I am interested are Stanford, UC Berkley, UCLA, and USC.

i'll probably be attending the University of Idaho next year.

ive just began college after a few years outta HS ,
and have not a bloody clue what sort of path i'd like to take ,
for now i begin with philosophy and english .

anyone know of some good resources for figuring this out ?

i'm in my 5th year of school, studying music education/classical saxophone at Louisiana State University. after i finish, i plan on getting accepted to the Performance and Interactive Media Arts program at Brooklyn College@CUNY, and pursuing an MFA in sound and the like.

my idea was to do a undergraduate course in english lit, then move to the state s and apply to Columbia University NYC for a graduate course.
that's the dream anyway.

Do it nothing is a dream until you have done it and failed.

I'll keep that in mind.

i graduate next week from the university of texas with a BA in japanese and linguistics... and i'm none the wiser for it.

I've signed up for English Translator at UBA's Law School

although i agree, i don't think a some guys named Panda Bear, Avey Tare, Geologist, and the other guy would be the best source for advice on life decisions.
