Mine was too, I'm glad my house is quiet once again. We had my "popular" cousins who are all obsessed with sex appeal and G-unit, and I didn't even talk to them. Now that I'm done driving I can drink rum in my room quietly with my buddy.

thank god my family isn't near because we don't have cousins and all that shit, it is only four siblings and mom and dad.

All my family are spazzes/control freaks. My brother and I are the black sheep (he recently admitted one of the reasons he moved to Seattle was to get away from my mom, haha). I don't feel the need to keep talking louder 'til someone eventually hears me over their loud talking, and bicker over the most petty bullshit. Sis acts like she's a rebel/badass until she's around my mom, then acts like a little brat bitching to my mom about any little dissatisfaction she may have about anything, and my mom just caves like she always has to try and appease her. Add alcohol to the mix. My nerves were fried long before I started this thread actually.

Sounds just like what I had CHOUT. At least my other brother is still here, he's the one that got me into better music in the first place and recommended Sun City Girls to me. The worst are my cousins though, but they were actually pretty quiet this time around. My little cousin Robby just hit puberty and is now into "gangsta fashion" and my female cousins just dress in unattractive scampy clothes. I really don't relate with them at all.

Haha my mom's tv wasn't working right - everyone was bumming hard. I was on the phone for 45 minutes with direct tv today with no luck.

My mom's at least hapyp nwo ebcause I helped clean up the house after Christamas madness, because I'm like that after a few beers and shots o' rum. Good call on the tequila Crypto. Now jus realaxing having a beer and some rum and getting rteady to play my new Stooges album

My family wasn't too terrible today. Mind you I tried to spend as little time with them as possible. I went off and took some pictures, watched a movie by myself in the TV room, and slickly avoided any conversation.

My family isn't bad today. People are all playing the Wii, which doesn't cease to amaze my grandma. My aunt is always fun to have around. My uncle, altough an asshole, is funny and fun to talk to because he has a good knowledge of music. My other aunt was supposed to come today but she never showed up.

Yeah my frined is all woerked up about his brother bringing his Wii which he stayed up all night playing. Apparently they're one of the best Nintendo systems yet, but I stioll doubt that it will match up with the SNES.

My family was ok. I've never been close with my paternal grandparents, but Sunday night was ok with them and my dad. My bottle-happy aunt and uncle were over afterwards. Tonight was all of my mom's boyfriend's family.

My family is terribly disfunctional. I got yelled at by my mother because I went to christmas at my Grandma's instead of coming to see her yesterday.

My family is a drag. Atleast I don't get to see my cousins that often because they live so far away. Which is good because they are the most annoying children I've ever met.

I am in a sort of a puzzled situation these days. I am spending Christmas holidays and the time until New Year with my father only, because our mom died earlier this year and I do not want him to be on his own for this fragile times of year. So I spend most part of these days sitting at home listening to him talking and talking and talking and talking and talking, coz he's just this talkative sort of a person by nature and always has been, but now he's left alone at home he needs to let it all out and just say any random shit that's happened to him for the time we haven't seen each other (like 3 months or so). And it so fucking exhausting and it's sucking all of my energy out but I just know that I need to be there for him.

So I just keep listening.

we got visited by family of my stepmother, they speak some kind of dialect i don't understand at all so i just read and now my stepmother's pissed because i was reading while those family members i don't know at all (they bore the hell out of me too) were here. my stepbrothers were playing videogames all the time, but she didn't mind about that.

Yesterday I had to deal with three people screaming at each other because the Xbox wasn't working.

Later, I had to talk to a cousin. The first thing she said to me was "So I hear you like rock." And then proceeded to tell me how she loves Evanescense and Fall Out Boy and how people think she's weird, but she's really just "punk".

I dig that, sounds like she's really indie-core!
